I was at TGH Davis Island and the cafeteria was awful. I went through their breakfast line and they were already out of food it was only 9am. The person serving the food was rude and didn’t like being asked questions especially when I asked if they had anymore bacon. Needless to say it wasn’t a good experience. I ended up getting a biscuit and gravy with scrambled eggs, sausage patties, and potatoes. Everything was cold except for the biscuit and gravy. That was lukewarm. The food was disgusting and it was a very bad experience. I don’t recommend eating there at all. I would suggest going to the Starbucks on the other end of the first floor but keep in mind you may have to wait awhile. If not you will have to venture off Davis Island and find something on Kennedy blvd that is HOT and edible.

The cafeteria has something for everyone and lots of healthy food. This is an incredible improvement over the previous McDonald's with various brand names like Chicken Salad Chick, Ice box, Wow Bao, Planet Smoothie, and several organic versions. They offer various made to order stations like grill, deli, and BarBQ. I enjoyed a great Elvis Smoothie from Planet Smoothie, so yummy. We grabbed some Made to order Boars Heads sandwiches to take to my friend's hospital room. All kinds of beverages too.
Great service. Totally accessible. Some of the tables needed cleaning off. Floors and all counters were clean. microwave and toasters are available. Accessible restrooms nearby. Van accessible parking lot for $3 per day.

May those dearest to you experience the same neglect you see fit to give. I have nothing nice to say. I know none of you care, or will follow up anyways. I also know that *not everyone* can leave a review! It’s almost as if you’re trying to keep your recommendation percentage high… when we all know just how low you can really go. I pray that the negligence & egos are taken care of. And that each of those people who are in the medical profession for the wrong reasons get to watch THEIR LOVED ONE suffer at the hands of someone else with nothing they can do. Watching your loved one SUFFER at the hands of these “medical professionals” has actually made me PHYSICALLY ILL. You actually MAKE ME SICK When will the suffering end?????
Dr. Aboda Such a friendly and supportive environment for not only those newly diagnosed, but also survivors and anyone close to cancer survivors. He helped me with an easier healing to my "new normal" and helped in finding alternative, complementary treatments. I Highly recommended doc oso and advise anyone stuffing illness please contact him directly via. #DrAboda
These workers are great and the food is pretty solid for a hospital. But the service is top notch!

Terrible prices I literally get a discount at every other hospital and this one just feels like they’re trying to gouge you. Take advantage of your wallet cuz they can, don’t come to tgh, they don’t care about there employees, when you only have 30 mins to eat, all of the valet workers have to eat something from there cuz the only other option is 711 cuz ur stuck on the island

Bad bad nurses , the nurse in the icu with a bow clip , her name was either Emily or Emma brown curly hair, had an attitude and in the normal mumas hospital this old lady that sounds like she smoked cigarettes started to make fun of my daughter for not being able to get up and open the door because of her swollen arms from the ivs.
Came in the day after election wearing my Trump gear . The nurse WOULDN'T let me speak to a pastor before the surgery. Then after the surgery my phone was broken , my leg was hurt, my meds have been wrong and more . every day something happened to me , I tagged the hospital but it didn't show up anywhere. I hope this rating and warning to others shows up on here. if not I'm going to make a Google review as well.
Acct 124699602 With provider Anish Zachariah, MD I was hoping you could help me out. I had a ER visit on Oct 20th. Came in about 830am with two degree burns. Why is it that whole er team is so clueless with burns when you have a burn clinic at the hospital! I’m asking if you could review my visit as I was stuck in the hall in front of the nurses, with patients who were drunk, walking around with there privates out and literally peeing each step they took! In this unsanitary and unsafe environment to literally get injured more by you’re staff as she careless ripping my bandages open, to leave and just have me treat myself. As I treated myself in unbearable pain due to the fact we were waiting for her to come back and have my medication wear off, she never showed during the 18 mins of my screaming in pain in the hall while my own boyfriend had to bandage me back up cuz he’s been doing at home and no one knew what products, tools or bandages we needed!! Once I got my ointment placed on my wounds and felt relief that’s when she showed up 1hr and sum mins later and demanded I have to take my ointment off for a photo and go through more pain! Im sorry but where did you run off too after injuring my hand, and than to came back with a nasty and stubborn attitude was absolutely mind blowing! The extra amount of pain and just devastating I had to endure because of your ER unit, is absolutely heartbreaking and just unbelievable!!! This was such a unbelievable and devastating experience. I looked over my billing and I will not be paying for the torture you’ve done! Thank you Klaudia!

Hair in food. Quality poor. Basic ingredients missing from basic dishes, such as a chef salad. TGH chef delivered to my room a plate of spring mix with a slice of slimy, smelly turkey, a slice of cucumber & a single grape tomato. Dressing was not delivered with my salad. Cup of grapes had what I can only assume is a piece of someone’s beard hair. Bring your own food. Nothing here is edible. I didn’t know pancakes could go so terribly wrong. Fruit without hair has been unripe at every meal. Zero gluten free options available. Zero dairy-free alternatives available. I’m in neuro & zero keto options are available. Kosher options are not available either. Friday’s dinner was pork, so I ate a bitter, nearly juiceless orange. The menu includes photos of strawberries and blueberries so I requested these; however, I was told TGH does not have these fruits in their kitchen.

recently went to Tampa General Hospital and had a very bad experience. I went to their outpatient pharmacy to pick up a prescription. It turned out to be the wrong prescription and I was charged a $60.00 co-pay. I have a 0-dollar co-pay on my United Health Care plan. I didn't want to argue with them. I contacted United Health Care about it but they were unable to reach them by phone. TGH ripped me off.
Got bad stomach & diarrhea the first time eating there at their sandwhich making area. Closed the 2nd time going there covered that section up, was right behind the baked goods.2nd time going there got breakfast. The turkey sasuage was still raw and pink inside, as cold as could be. The potatos cold as well. Eggs only thing hot, but rubbery. Head cook came out and gave me a refund.Told him the sasuages and potatoes arent even under a heat lamp, he said it wouldnt do much anyway...he said atleast their pre cooked, but its still not good.
