We’ve been coming to this local gem for the past 8years since we moved to Coral Gables! Staff is always friendly and welcoming, the food is as good as the service and the prices are even better! I’m so happy they are no open on Sundays and Mondays!
Super fresh and personal experience
I had a horrible experience the food was disappointing and there was a worm crawling on the table 0/10 I do not recommend!!!
Mastering the art of Japanese food. They have good environment and excellent service. Highly recommended.
The food here is great.... but I just had a waitress in the front add a mandatory tip of 20%
I've been a customer here for YEARS.... and this has never happened to me. The food is becoming expensive.
The portion size has also gotten significantly smaller.
Seems like I'll be getting my sushi 🍣 elsewhere
This little place has been on my radar for a bit and we finally made it out here. The service ambiance and food were great. Parking is a bit scarce though. If you live nearby maybe walk? Either way the food is delicious and fresh. We shared a Hawaiian, Rainbow and tuna California roll . All there were well worth it both in price and flavor.
Everything was fresh and authentic! Crab rangoons were probably the best I've ever had! Tried something different with the Brulee roll and Las Vegas roll, amazing! Ramen tasted like someone's grandparents were in the kitchen making it with love!
So delicious I loved my service too the host and server super friendly and helpful thanks for the great vibes ! And sushi chef killed it! Food was amazing !!!
I usually came here for takeaway lunch. This time I came for dinner. It was a weekday night, so the restaurant was empty and I was able to sit down right away. I ordered a sushi and sashimi platter. The fish was thick and filling. The sea bream sashimi was tilapia, so I left some, but it would be great if I could exchange it for another fish.
If you are looking for high quality asian food this is the place. It’s not fancy, but I’ve been to all the popular sushi spots around the area - Sushi Maki, Sushi Sake etc you name it. This place is SO MUCH better. As a bonus it’s a lot more affordable as well. Just so happy to have found this hidden gem. Truly best sushi I tried in Miami so far. The service is always great too.

Food is flavorful and the service is decent. Sometimes the cooked items take a little longer than you would expect.

For over twenty-five years, a fine place,
Where flavors and friends would embrace.
But the fish turned to foul,
Made my stomach just howl,
Now I’ll seek a new dining space.
Once warm with the finest of fare,
Each dish crafted with tender care.
But the freshness grew slack,
And I won’t be back,
Sakura, adieu—take my chair.

I'll start off by saying, now I know why this owner/chef didn't refund me on a dish that I felt had little to no flavor. I just saw how they responded to another reviewer. I would consider them to have no manners and would say that they're rude. I have been coming to this restaurant for a while, so I would consider myself a fairly loyal customer. I liked the sushi and the miso soup and for the most part, I enjoyed the food. This time around -I had the dak gui . The first time I had it, I liked it a lot. This time, it had very little flavor and I simply told the waiter that I was disappointed with it and asked if it could be taken off the bill. I ordered the yellow pepper sauce because it had so little flavor. The owner/chef refused to take it off the bill-I was actually charged $2 extra for some reason. They'll probably say the reason they wouldn't take it off the bill is because I ate a lot of it. Well, when you're hungry and you're adding sauces to make it better, sure I'll eat it. It was fresh, so I had no complaints there. Imo, a good owner tries to make their customer happy, regardless. And, this restaurant/owner /chef lost a good customer. Btw, the staff was always pleasant and the food, for the most part, quite good, though after this experience, I'm done. There are too many good sushi restaurants around to deal with an owner that apparently doesn't value their customers.
