These days I never eat out by happenstance - we always have a game plan and read reviews before picking a restaurant; however, we were running errands on Park Avenue when a sign for Japanese brunch caught our eye. We didn't look up a Yelp review, we just took a chance - and boy am I glad we did! This brunch was UNREAL! The restaurant was beautiful, the servers were attentive, and the food was simply delicious. I had the bao benedict and it was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. I only wish we discovered this restaurant sooner.

Excellent food selection. They could be a little more current on interior design. We did enjoy the different sushi options.

Weve been to ALOT of sushi places and what's offered here is by far delicious and different from the norm. Our server was exceptionally nice and helped us every step of the way.We do have to ask what is your playlist on in the restaurant, because it was slappin!!

Hubby and I were looking for a good sushi spot with a chill vibe and good drinks and this place checked all of the boxes! Sushi was amazing! So good and unique! Will definitely be going back!

I’ve been to at least a dozen sushi restaurants in Orlando and I’m a life long sushi lover so this place meets my highest standards when It comes to sushi. They have amazing cold and hot tastings, fantastic rolls, reasonable portions that you would expect at any high end sushi place and a phenomenal staff providing impeccable service. They also have a world class cocktail program and Saki selection.I’ve also visited the Sushi Pop flagship location in Oveido and both restaurants receive my highest recommendation for sushi.

I've been coming here since they opened. It's definitely part of our Orlando/WP rotation and a date night for us. Last time we were there it was for an omakase and it was great. The food is always great. That's not the issue. Tonight, I took my mother out to dinner here. As usual, the food was delicious. The service, however, was subpar. In fact it was insulting. I write this with the hope that management reviews these reviews. I could list complaints of lack of water, or asking for wasabi and ginger that didn't come with the rolls and nigiri ordered which never came. But, the unforgivable issue is that while looking for our server who just disappeared at times, I finally spotted her at the bar with 2 other servers taking a shot with the bartender at 7 pm in the middle of dinner service. Look. I can take bad service. I can accept overworked servers that chose to come to work that day when others quit or no showed. I can handle all of that and tip minimum 20% and usually more. But, what I cannot accept is not having water, asking for things only for them not to come, observing neighboring tables craning their necks looking for their server only to see her taking a shot at the bar. I thought Sushi Pop was better than this. I hope management/ownership monitors Yelp and realizes that I'm not likely to come back. Kabooki, Seito, Wa Sushi are all very good. I hope this server reads my note--which came with half the tip I normally would have given--and thinks about hospitality and what I think when I'm spending money there and watch her taking shots while I'm not being served.

Sushi Pop in WP for Magical Dining. I LOVE this place!!!! The food was incredible and the service absolutely perfect. When we needed someone, our server was there. A lovely experience from start to finish. We started with the 2 'Jack' appetizers. The one with the apple was our fave but both super fresh and delicious. Then, rolls + nigiri. We had the ceviche and anaconda with yellowtail and bass. Yum. They tasted incredible and the ceviche was our fave. They were not the tightest rolls so they were a little tough to eat but still really good and fresh. Highly recommend!!

Creative, flavorful dishes with a great atmosphere. Came for Magical Dining and got the crispy pork with citrus mofongo, Bangkok Dangerous roll with 2 pieces of Unagi nigiri, and a yuzu posset

Not bad but not cheap. For the consideration of Magical Dining I was disappointed and go somewhere else for the pricepoint. Happy hour menu isnt too bad.

This place is not bad at all. Not cheap either which could go either of ways. But Sushi Pop doesn't disappoint. Fresh and flavorful, carefully crafted pieces from the sea. Note the Happy Hour bar seats have a slightly cheaper than the table menu prices. Not to mention there are several dishes not on the typical menu.

I really enjoyed happy hour at Sushi Pop. I walked in right at 5pm, which is highly recommended because the restaurant isn't that big and it gets CROWDED QUICKLY. Happy hour is from 5-6:30pm Wednesday through Friday and 3-6:30pm Saturday and Sunday at the bar and bar tables ONLY. I ordered a few things from the happy hour menu and they were YUMMY so I'll get into it. I got the cocktail of the day, which was a gin based drink called "Love Me 2 Ways", and it was very fruity, sweet and delicious. We were off to a great start so I tried to Salmon Kobachi. It was like ceviche, but with cubed salmon and avocado. I didn't really like it, there was zero flavor. With mild tasting foods like raw salmon and avocado, you gotta add some type of savory element to it, maybe some Thai chili or mango or eel sauce. It WAS fresh though, and I can taste the love in the preparation. Next was the Bao, which was by far my favorite small plate. I ordered the Crispy Fried Chicken Bao which also had spicy plum sauce and apple slaw on it. Sounds weird, but literally tastes like Thai Chili sauce. It was SOOOO good, all of the flavors were so perfect together. They were like $4 so I got 3 of them, definitely a must-try. My drink was done by this point so I ordered a daiquiri. It wasn't exactly what I was expecting, and I don't feel like it was worth it, even on the happy hour menu. It was $9 and I finished it in 2 gulps. The cocktail of the day might be your best bet there. Then I decided to order some rolls since this is a sushi spot after all. I ordered the Spicy Tuna roll and the Coco roll. The Coco roll was definitely my favorite. Such a bold idea to put toasted coconut flakes on what would be just a normal shrimp tempura roll. I usually don't care for coconut, but they did this so well. The Spicy Tuna roll was average, nothing special to be honest but still very good. I'm super excited to come back for their brunch they keep talking so much about. And I'll definitely come back on a normal night to try out their dinner menu, looks really good. A few things to note is that they do have a location in Oviedo in case Winter Park is a stretch for you, the menu, however, may differ. There's only free street parking and, again, the restaurant is small, so I would probably come at an off-time - maybe very early and mid-week. If you do come at a busy time, reservations are highly recommended. When I went, the bartenders were also serving the bar tables surrounding the bar. So if you're going for happy hour, patience is a virtue. In summary, I did really enjoy my time here and would definitely recommend.

The food is great, but the customer service is hands down the worst and bizarrely rudest I've ever experienced, in Winter Park, in Orlando, in Florida, in the States, and anywhere else. I don't know if the staff are drinking too much on the job or what, but it was a surreal situation how rude the staff was.

Small place but cozy and pleasant.Food is fresh, eye appealing and nice presentation. Not a huge variety but good enough to find something you like. If you prefer sushi ? without raw fish but rather cooked varieties, they only have one option but it's delicious.Edamame with truffle salt is amazing.Dessert menu have a very strange name- Happy Ending and one of the Desserts called PMS... Really?!?. Needless to say, we went to get a Dessert elsewhere. Hope manager or franchise changes that ASAP. .. Other than that, it was good

Wow! We were very impressed. Started off with a delicious smokey spicy drink and the truffle salt edamame. The edamame were amazing! The perfect amount of seasoning. The tuna toast and fish poke bowl were also a must. Definitely a place to stop at.

Absolutely the worst sushi restaurant I have visited in Orlando. Everything was ridiculously overpriced. The pieces were smaller than the tip of my pinky. It was a horrible experience. Nothing even tasted right. Stay away!!
