I always enjoy coming to Viet pho for lunch and dinner. They always have smiles on their face and the soup it always spot on. Nothing better on a cold day!! Today I got the V57 with $5 extra tofu!!

*edited review*Been a regular for years, the last two times I went the service was not great.I've ordered a sandwich for them to tell me they were out of bread, only for the cook to come out and eat a sandwich at the table literally next to me.Most recently was denied service, they had two decent sized parties and asked if an hour wait would be to ok with me. I said I'd be happy to wait and after looking over the menu waiting to order our server comes over and just told us that the manager said they weren't serving anymore after those parties. And asked us to leave.Foods great if you can get it, I'm very disappointed and won't give them my business anymore since it's not welcome*Pic of food is a review from when they wanted customers

This restaurant kept increasing prices regularly. It is now $14 for a small bowl of noodle which was $12 a couple of weeks ago. The tendon is tough and not cooked long enough. Very little meat for what they charged. Will not go back. Too pricey for small amount. Service is good. Atmosphere is fine.

My heart breaks as I say this. I had to delete my previous review where I said this was my favorite restaurant in Albany. I said that 5 years ago when it was under previous ownership. This place has gone way downhill. I just want to say that I don't want to sound like I'm attacking the new owner, I'm just giving honest feedback.I'm a huge Vietnamese cuisine lover. One of my favorite things is iced coffee. That was the worst iced coffee I've ever had in my life. It was still hot even with ice in it when they served it to me. I could tell by the color also it was going to be super weak and it was. I took a few sips and just threw it out, along with pretty much everything else I ordered. The banh mis here were really good recently, but then they started adding mayo or something to them and that is a no no for me. He spendsVietnamese cuisine is super simple and hard to mess up. It seems to me maybe the focus isn't on the food quality here. Maybe the owner likes to play around in the kitchen with changing things. I'm personally not a fan and won't be back but I wish him well. I like to see small businesses succeed and I've been eating at this place since it opened roughly 10 years ago. I just can't call it my favorite anymore. Times are too hard with inflation to spend money on something you don't enjoy eating.

Maybe I'm just not a fan of Vietnamese food but why separate the broth from the food? Cus mine spilled in my bag and I dropped hot broth on my leg trying to get it out of the bag. Half my broth is still in the bag ?Food was good but the inconvenience really soured it for me.Vegetarian options: It's a good option for us

Everything was pretty good. The food was good. Would go there again.
Understaffed, slow service. The food was very bland, have been twice, I don't plan on returning.

Their Bun (rice noodle) dishes tasted like pho without broth. Nothing wrong with pho, but I didn’t order pho. It wasn’t bad, just kind of bland, but with a big hint of pho. (I think that’s the star anise flavor)Given that it’s in the backwater south, I don’t want say don’t go here if you are in the mood for Vietnamese food, but just know what you are getting.

Ordered the pho. Sprouts and cilatro were off/rotten. Sent back, and got slightly less off back. Do not recommend.
