I wanted to try this place out as the menu seemed very interesting. I myself had the seafood risotto which was ok as it was very bland and not at all hearty and filling like risottos that I’m used to. It had salmon broken up in pieces into it, small bites of crawfish and shrimp, which the dish lacked flavor and seasoning. The rest of my party had the salmon and shrimp pasta which they enjoyed. I had a vintage old fashioned drink which I didn’t see the waitress to get a straw but that would have been nice to have so I could sip my drink. We did order the beignets for dessert which was good and was the best part of the meal besides my drink. I imagined the food to give me a creole, Louisiana taste and it was below average.Parking is available and shared with Warm Waves.

We seem to forget this place is there, yet we live nearby. We sat upstairs overlooking the lower level. We enjoyed a bottle of wine, an appetizer, and our entrees. Everything was delicious. I think we will add it back to our rotation.

My granddaughter and I were visiting Atlanta at the same time. She chose Flatlands for lunch. We had a blast. There were two women about to leave. We struck up a conversation and they suggested a few items from the menu. One of which was the Pair Martini. When I say it was the bomb dot com. I so mean that and the fried goat cheese, crab dip, and fried seafood platter. We pigged Out. Thank you Flatlands for your hospitality and also the two women who suggested the pair martini. I can't wait to travel back.

Food was ok. Edible. Service was not great. Gave a 15% tip just because. Would not recommend or plan to return.

Yummy food and terrific service. Fun and eclectic atmosphere! Nice choices if you're looking for a New Orleans cuisine.

Catfish Pontchartrain I had was a very nice dish with shrimp and crawfish. I had an Abita Purple Haze with it, which brought me back to a family trip to New Orleans. Friends with me also enjoyed the food and Abita amber. Servers were friendly and there when you needed them. Nice atmosphere. Great experience ?

We went here for dinner on 03/15/2024 and will definitely be back. We ordered the blackened chicken sandwich and also the Cajun, sausage pasta and then we ordered the salted caramel White Russian drink. Loved the food and atmosphere.

It was cold when we went but love that they have a cute outdoor seating area for when it gets warm. May come back just to sit outside. As far as the food...it was fine. After eating gumbo and etouffe in New Orleans it's hard to beat that. My mom was feeling generous and let my brother and I take meals to go. I got the crawfish etouffe and it was just okay. Could have used a bit more flavor. My main meal at the restaurant was the salmon with sweet potato risotto. That was really good! Specifically the risotto! Alligator bites were tasty with all the different sauces. My moms gumbo was just okay. I didn't taste my brothers pasta but he said it was good. My dad got fried chicken and it was just okay. I don't think the food is amazing at all but I think in the summer it would be a cute spot to get together and eat maybe just one more time.

I called in an order for regular beignets and was offered the stuffed strawberry or pralines also. I had to try them! The pralines n crème was my fav 10/10. The caramel inside was so good. It wasn't too sweet and had nuts mixed throughout. The strawberry was good too but didn't beat the praline. The lady that took the call and the man Kwame who took my order were friendly. Both orders cost $19 total, a little overpriced but hey. The scenery was nice with an open patio. The parking lot accommodates guests also. If the food is as good as the desserts, go see about this place!

One of our favorite restaurants! Food is consistently great. Wonderful service. Cocktails also fabulous. Highly recommend, especially anything with "ponchetrain" sauce on it!
