This place used to be good more than a year ago but the food is so bland and thrown together. Really off tasting. Won’t be buying from here again.

Mambos café quickly became one of my favorite places to eat Cuban food when we moved to the area. However, yesterday we found, not one, not two, but three long black hairs in our guacamole. The polite waiter apologized and told me he would mention it to the manager. He returned and said the manager stated they will not charge us for the guacamole that he took away. Really??? When I asked what they planned to do to make sure this doesn’t happen again he said he would ask the manager. I watched them from a distance speak for a few seconds, and then the manager just walked over to a chair and sat down and started using her cell phone. I honestly don’t know what had happened to basic customer service. If I was the manger, I would have walked to the customer and apologized and tried to provide assurance that this doesn’t normally happen. It was obvious the waiter (Cruz) cared more than the manager did. We finish eating our main entrees (after a close inspection), paid, and left feeling very disappointed and let down about the whole incident. Needless to say we will not be returning to this restaurant again.

We went here to celebrate a birthday. This is the second time we have gone. The Valenciana (i think that is how you spell it) paella is my favorite dish...I usually order it for two and it will feed two people for at least two meals if not more...I took teenagers with me and they both ordered steak dishes with THE best black beans and rice. The steaks were flavorful and tender and I had this amazing margarita with black salt...this is fast becoming my favorite special place.Dietary restrictions: I am always able to find gluten free options.Parking: Plenty of parking and easy to get intoKid-friendliness: Staff is always accommodating, attentive and kind

We have been eating lunch here for years, and the one thing I can say about this place is that it is consistent. And that means something. The quality of the food, the speed at which it comes out, and the friendliness of the staff have always been consistent.

Seafood here is with right amount of seasoning, not too salty so you can taste the food itself. Cazuelita Barcelona is my favorite appetizer, and it is, in my opinion, a great entree with the bread they gave to you. The price has gone up in the last a few years and I don't go as often as before.
