Looks like management has changed. Quality dropped so badly. Visited Nalan’s on Mar 1st 2025, ordered veg pakora platter, paneer 65 and sambar vada as appetizers. Did not anyone can screw up a pakora it came crumbled powder with no taste may be chef forgot to add salt. Paneer 65 paneer was hard and was bland. For main course ordered saag paneer and paneer Prasanda. Taste was so bad we had to leave everything as is and jumped out. Will never go back to Nalan ever again.

Food is good but pricey and that’s ok. For that price the customer service is horrible and then they expect tips.

Very good south Indian food - fast service. Had appam and Kerala style curries after long time.

update 15 Feb 2025:
So I visited this restaurant on 14 Feb 2025 (valentines), that I had rated 5 star (1 year back per google, but I think probably longer than that). 1. Very crowded, there seemed to be a provate party also going on - tool long to take our order, longer to bring it.
2. Panner was good, evrything else was barely passable 3. prawn curry was basically like ingredients put together and boiled - taste not blended in AT ALL. 4. took `vegetable` dum biryani to-go - and the following day had it at home - HARDLY any vegetables.

Not spent this much money for this much disappointment in a LONG time. Sorry, not going back here. They used to be good once, not anymore.

I love this place! Compared to the other restaurants in the area, they have done a way better job at maintaining the quality of the food. Not to mention, their service is really good!

The food was just okay. I have been other Indian cuisine restaurants and I can tell that the portions here were definitely less than other places for the price. Also, maybe it was me and my wife’s luck but we got some digestion issues. I don’t want to say it’s because the food was bad but I am not sure why we had issues. Service was not good at all. Nobody checked if we are doing okay etc. unless you don’t call for service, no one will come and ask you if you need anything else.

I recently visited [Restaurant Name], and while the food was decent, the overall ambiance left much to be desired. The restaurant felt cold and uninviting, and to make matters worse, it was so chilly inside that most people were eating dinner with their hats and coats on. It was incredibly uncomfortable and distracted from the dining experience.

It’s clear that the place could use some updates, both in terms of temperature control and decor, to create a more welcoming atmosphere for customers. The owner should consider these changes to reflect the rich and vibrant culture that Indian cuisine is known for.

With a little effort, this restaurant has the potential to shine, but until then, I can’t see myself returning. I hope these issues are addressed soon!

A nice dine in place with great ambience. I was really impressed with the appetizer suggested by the waiter. It was karampodi chicken. The other dishes i ordered were also very delicious. Would come back again for sure.

Good customer service. Plenty of parking.
The food is delicious. Dine in or take out. Delivery services will have to go inside to pick up.
