Terrible experience. After spending $45, got a bowl that was cold and unflavoured. Maybe it was my fault for coming opening weekend and expecting the same quality of food received. The plaintains were not mashed, so it was just chunks. There were no opinions on the different meats when asked. I made a special trip to come here and was sorely disappointed.UPDATE:3/7/2020I e-mailed Diana as requested in the response. After a few days, she replied asking me which restaurant the issue was with (proving to me that she didn't read the review). After telling Diana that the location was Tocayo in Halcyon, she apologized and offered to send a gift card, which I accepted. The card never came, but now that I know it's a chain, I will just avoid Tocayo and other Maven restaurants (2 Butcher & Brews, South Main Kitchen, and some seafood place) as they don't value customers due to high traffic based solely on location.

Try Maria's Gorditas! Only available on fridays 11-2! The cheese dip and steak tacos are great!

I got 3 tacos; fish, chicken and pork. None of them stood out above the rest as they all seemed to lack flavor. Granted, I didn't add any salsa, but then I never go because that's not my thing. The street corn was a little creamy in my experience, but quite good. However, the rice was a quite dry. I'm not sure what they have for beverages. I asked for water and they gave me a cup to fill at the water fountain and sent my friend next door to get a sweet tea.

The street corn was tasty and really the best part of the meal. Rice and beans were pretty good and standard. The tacos were small, dry and not very flavorful. The kids cheese quesadilla was on a fresh, unsalted corn tortilla instead of a flour tortilla which my kid didn’t like. It wasn’t good. Spent almost $40 and just wasn’t that impressed unfortunately. :(

Awesome gem in the food court with great food!! As notes the pricing is a little off as the tacos are extremely small (2 bites) but worth it!! My favorites are the steak tacos (always perfectly cooked) and the fish tacos (catfish at its finest)! The street corn is also wonderful l, I will branch out to more items next visit!

I really want to love this place because I love Mexican food. Mexican food should be a flavor party in your mouth but instead I have gotten unseasoned meat, rice etc. On opening day the street corn and plantains were a hit but each time I have returned it's been a disappointment. Please put some respect and flavor in the cuisine you serve.

There were a lot of restaurants to choose from and we decided to go with this one. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The food was pretty much flavorless, and they only serve you with spoons. How do you eat a salad with a spoon? We added fish to our salad and we got two very tiny pieces of catfish about the size of your thumb. The only thing I can say that tasted really nice was the street corn. They need to work on portions being larger for the price and the food being more flavorful. And getting forks!

Overpriced bowls. Definitely wouldn’t recommend unless you like buying overpriced food. The owner needs to go visit upbeet for some advice. Food was good though. ...After reading other reviews I’ve decided I needed to give 1 star because the fact that they don’t have forks it crazy. They told me that they just ran out and I could ask another place for a fork. It sounds like they expectation is to use a spoon to eat your steak bowl lol or anything else you order that is not considered hand food. Spoons are for soup but regardless give me the choice. As you can see the price still bothers me a week later.

Way overpriced! I don't expect this place to be here by the time the place has fully developed unless they reconfigure their prices

I'll keep this simple into the point. The tacos are extremely tiny and expensive. Underwhelming.

Tasty, authentic tacos! My husband and I were starving after a movie and we ordered all the tacos. They were all delicious, especially the mushroom tacos. Highly recommended. This place is better than many Mexican restaurants we've been to, even in California. The tortillas are handmade and made to order.

Thought wed try out the street food at Halcyon. Well wrong choice. These tacos were tiny and so salty. We ordered the pork and steak taco. Totally no veggies or garnish. 2 tiny tacos were 9.00. Not worth the $ or calories. Not coming back.

Delicious and fresh street style tacos. Everything is made fresh in the kitchen, including the corn tortillas and queso! The pork tacos are “al pastor” style and topped with grilled pineapple

The food was good but way over priced. 2 tacos felt like appetizer size portions. We spent 30 dollars to come away still feeling hungry. The steak taco literally was just cut up steak on a small tortilla. Guess I'm just used to more items being included in my taco amd larger tacos. Not planning on a return visit unless the prices are reconfigured.

Kind of hard to find this place but eventually found it. The cashier greeted me and was very friendly and informative. This place from what I've heard is fairly new. I love how eco friendly this place is! The prices are normal street food taco prices if you ask me. I know I've seen some reviews mention the pricing but for the area and the kind of food you get, the prices seem fine to me. The food was great! I had two fish tacos and the street corn! Food came out in a reasonable time. The ONLY reason why I didn't give this place a 5 star is because the other woman whom was behind the counter kept playing with her hair. Other than that, I foresee myself returning!
