I was very excited to try this restaurant and unfortunately it just did not hit the mark for me. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese biscuit with the sausage well-done which I did not get. When I asked the waitress after taking one bite of my biscuit if I could get a well-done sausage, she basically told me no lol because I took a bite of my food already which I thought was kind of ridiculous. Don’t get me wrong. My waitress was very nice but if I ask specifically for something and don’t get it it kind of sucks to be told no after not getting what I asked for.. My mom got the biscuit and gravy she mentioned it had a grainy taste to it and she didn’t much care for it. We basically didn’t like anything and we are huge breakfast people.. Overall, I love the idea and the vibe, but the execution wasn’t there.

We had the hot honey chicken. Biscuits were decent but a little soggy. Chicken to biscuit ratio was off (too much chicken, barely any biscuit and I'm not even a biscuit person). Maybe it was soggy because of the paper/aluminum wrap, a ventilated box would work better for take-out. Would come back for another try because the ratings are good.

Just went to go eat here after church today, around 12 pm, and had maybe the worst service experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. It’s worth saying that we are regular customers and have brought/suggested this place to others in the past.

My wife and I came in, ready to eat their usually good food, and noticed several ppl, like 14 or so, were outside waiting. As we asked to be seated, we were told it was a 45-min wait. This is highly unusual for this location, but we are open to waiting that long when a place is full. However, there were at least 18 seats available and several tables unseated at the time (inside and outside).

I happen to see the Manager on our way out, and the Manager was very rude and inhospitable. I mentioned there were several open seats open and asked if the wait would really be 45 mins. Instead of maybe mentioning that they were maybe understaffed or they mismanaged a very predictable rush, he argued and bickered at me and my wife.

I told them that they lost two formally committed customers. This is sad since I truly believe in this black-owned business. However, if they don’t watch their day-to-day management staff, their attitudes, and regulate their service culture, they’ll continue to lose reliable customers like us. Please get your management together quickly so your business can thrive.

Loved the food and the service. The wait time was about 90 minutes for brunch tho, but they let you know about your table via text, so we were able to do other things while we waited.

Had a nice brunch experience here. We sat at the bar and had spectacular service. The restaurant was clean and the AC was on full blast in this summer heat!

I got a plate with salmon patties, a biscuit, eggs, and grits. The salmon patties with the sauce were a great combination. The biscuit was alright, but I do wish it was served with some jam! Would’ve been perfect! I can’t say the eggs and grits were my favorite, though. They left a bit to be desired.

Overall, lovely place with people who genuinely care about the food and experience. It’s always nice to see the manager floating and checking on customers!

I tried the chicken and waffles and others in my group tried the biscuit sandwiches. Nothing was bad by any means but we’ve had better from other restaurants and I think we were expecting a little more.

The food is good but the service is extremely slow. Expect to wait 30 mins for your food on the weekends. Place needs some work

We sat at the bar seat and literally reach 15mins before its closing time. I was so glad they offered us the seat and never rushed us at all. Loved the biscuit. Definitely worth the hype. We ordered hot honey with Jalepeono biscuit and the ultimate classic which already comes with black pepper and bacon infused biscuit. Both were amazing but our favorite was definitely hot honey chicken.
