Order chicken and waffles and chicken was raw don't go to the place close to closing. They will rush you food and give you uncooked chicken. Manager took care of bill, but that's not what we wanted. I would just prefer cooked food.

We had an early dinner reservation on a Saturday night before a play. We were shocked to be the only diners in the restaurant or outside for most of our 1 1/2 hour stay. The food was excellent -- particularly the lamb "lollypops" and the risotto -- and our server, Joey, was pleasant and attentive. The chef (?) brought us complimentary tiramisu beautifully presented in four small slices with fresh berry garnish. We enjoyed the quiet, because we could converse, but wished for the restaurant's sake that it had been more lively. This is well worth a try for good food and, at least for now, you can get in without a wait!

This place did not open that long ago, and I believe they are just not working out their brunch menu. Although they have some kinks to work out, the food is absolutely amazing, the staff are friendly, and the environment is chill. Very different vibe to Joy's, which was in that location for years, but a great addition to midtown.

Food was good but service was not, was checked on one time and that was to take our food and drink orders at the same time. I had to go to the bar to get another drink because nobody would stop at our table

We ate here after a family graduation, and everything was absolutely perfect. We were seated immediately, and our server was absolutely the best. The noise level was not overwhelming, so we were able to enjoy conversation amongst the 8 of us. The food was outstanding and came out quickly. I cannot say enough good things about this place. We will definitely dine hear again.

Get the breakfast burrito a little dirty! My friend and I met here for brunch before a Fox Matinee. We arrived early, but our table was all prepared for us! Travis and Bobby handled our drinks (Mmm espresso martini anyone?) and food orders with flair and fun! The place fills up fast and it can be a wee bit noisy, but the tables are well and flexible for larger parties. Great artwork on the walls. Open Table reservation making was easy peasy. Parking on a Sunday is a no cost breeze on the street.

We needed reservations for 13 so just picked whoever was available. The food was wonderful and the service was great. We sat on the patio which was great for conversations. The Fried Green Tomatoes were really good. The Charcuterie board wonderful. Also the sliders appetizer very tasty.

These two waiters/ host were on top of their game. They are so nice and informative about the menu, giving us 5 star service. Me and my Girlfriend enjoyed our time. The food was awesome I had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was extremely flavorful I absolutely loved it. Actually the best I've had so far. We also would like to thank Amit shah (owner) for his Hospitality. I recommend everyone to stop by cafe 1933

Best brunch I've had in Atlanta in a long time. Eggs and grits were perfect. Everyone raved about the food from omelet to avocado toast to bacon and eggs to smash burger. People there were very engaged with great service. Highly recommend.

Cafe 1933 has a relatively small menu, but the food is absolutely delicious. The proportions were generous and we enjoyed the leftovers the next day. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. We chose outdoor seating and the ambiance was lovely.

First time brunch at Cafe 133. Food was served piping hot, really great especially roasted potatoes! Service was excellent. We had a really enjoyable meal in a very relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Probably the worst restaurant experience I ever had. It was a valentine dinner and I had to prepay for everything otherwise I would have left just by seeing how bad it looked while I was waiting for table. Seem like the Manager was working hard but didn't know his job very well. I was sitting at a corner table and I had a view of the whole restaurant and I saw the manger come out with food many times and going right back in the kitchen because he didn't know where the food was going. If you are gonna have specials for valentine, you should have at least get the table number right. I understand food was late due to lot of people ordering at the same time but it looked like food was ready but this incompetent people didn't know how to serve them. I saw the manger walk out with food 10-15 times and not a single time he got the food to the right table. Table next to us got their entree before first two courses. Our sever took our order and he seem to disappear after that. Never came to check on us, I asked if he forgot about us? He answered he had a lot going on. He was busy ringing up orders but never checking if the food arrived on the table. There was one lady walking around in the restaurant passing flower, that's one only thing she seem to be doing. To be fair , food was decent but the service was just horrible and ruined our special dinner. I think most of the customer sitting around us had same experience. Very small restaurant but the stuff need more training along with the manger before they host dinners on special occasions like valentines! I worked in the restaurants industry before. So I maybe little more critical then others but I had to share my experience.

We went for the prix fixe Valentine's Day dinner. We arrived early for our reservation and were seated 45 mins late. Other guests at nearby tables were warning us what NOT to order as soon as we sat down. Four tables around us sent food back for being undercooked or tasting bad. Our food was mediocre and it took them 35 mins to bring out our dessert. We would have walked out at several points, but we had to prepay for the 4 course meal when making the reservation. The dessert was “chef's special”. We could see at other tables it appeared to be some sort of beignet. A table next to us said they were not good and didn't eat theirs. We were actually just waiting to see how bad they were. Instead we were served a white cake that looked like it was just picked up from Kroger and sat on a plate in cream so it was soggy. Took a couple bites and left. We saw the owner or manager walking around with plates of food trying to put them at incorrect tables. Bringing dessert to people waiting for appetizers and vice versa. Only giving it 2 stars since the drinks were tasty even if they took a very long time to get.

Despite the best efforts of the manager, this place is in disarray. Hot food should be served hot. My brunch French Toast was terrible. Did not send it back so as not to make the person with me uncomfortable. Cafe 1933 needs a makeover.

We walked into a restaurant full of smoke (strange) and we waited 27 minutes before we received our drinks (we even had to ask for assistance). The server paid us no attention and the sad part was, the restaurant wasn't even busy. The server clearly didn't want to wait on us - each time he came over he seemed annoyed and poured water on the table each time he filled our glasses. Our food finally came out but we were missing items and one of the orders was incomplete. The manager on duty never came by to chat with us and I know for a fact he knew of the issues were were having. Horrible experience and we will not be back. Very disappointing considering we live nearby and were frequent patrons of Joy Cafe. Sad to say, I will not give this restaurant any more of my money. Good luck staying open if this is how you continue to operate.
