This is an awesome black owned, breakfast spot just outside of Atlanta. The food was delicious, the quality and quantity was good for the price. I enjoyed the atmosphere. Also had to get a gallon of the basil lemonade to try with my family and everybody loved it. I added some honey Jack Daniels and it was absolutely amazing. We will be visiting frequently, I highly recommend.Vegetarian options: They offer plant based milkKid-friendliness: Service was fast and friendlyParking: Parking located right next to the building one way traffic.

We had an awesome morning welcoming Benteen Elementary to East Lake for the 2022-2023 school year. A Big Thank You to My Coffee Shop for opening up outside of business hours to provide delicious coffee, bagels and biscuits to the teachers and staff at Benteen. Not only does My Coffee Shop provide amazing food, coffee and basil lemonade, but the team there is always willing and happy to show up for the East Lake community. They are a staple in the neighborhood.

My partner and I just moved to the area and decided to stop in this morning for breakfast and coffee. We both got egg & cheese biscuits - I added Turkey sausage to mine. Oh my goodness this biscuit was so delicious and flakey and buttery ?. We also both agreed that the eggs were cooked to perfection. It wasn’t crowded - but there was a steady flow of people coming in to either place to go orders or picking up orders. The atmosphere is eclectic and we sat at the swing seats in front of the bar. I’m so glad we did, it gave us the opportunity to chat with Linda who was taking orders and working at the bar and she was really nice and welcomed us to the neighborhood. Will definitely be back!

Love everything about it. The people run this place are gracious, professional, and very pleasant. The food is tremendous. Go for a bacon egg and cheese croissant, grab a book because you may end up wanting to stay for lunch. The red velvet cake is better than my Sweet Mama’s (Forgive me, Sweetmama). All their cakes are clearly homemade- no BS. Seriously, get the frozen basil lemonade, and do so ASAP, if not sooner. If you don’t know about this place, do yourself a favor and ask somebody. 11/10. I will be a happy customer until the day I die. May God protect these angels. ❤️

We wanted to like it more but weren't too jazzed with the coffee. The cake we got was good but for the price they charged it wasn't worth it. The service tends to be a bit slow so make sure to plan accordingly.

Excellent customer service!! The owner is very nice!! The establishment is very clean. The restroom was out of order today though, so for those wanting to dine in, this might be a challenge for those personal needs! It's best to order carry out and dine some where else because they are probably getting the restroom issue resolved as I type this. I ordered basil lemonade, fish n grits with fried eggs. You can also make your own breakfast with the a la carte items on the menu. There is coffee that I have not tried yet but I plan to later!! There also vegan options but not many!! I will be back Saturday! You can call ahead for carry-out orders and a large party!! Happy eating!!

I'd give 5 stars for the basil lemonade alone. We had a wonderful breakfast. The staff was super friendly. The food was excellent. All of us cleaned our plates. Everything was great. Of course, I bought a gallon of the lemonade to go. A quiet little gem in East Lake.

Known for their famous basil lemonade, this place is a must-stop whenever I’m in the East Lake neighborhood. Inside you will find a self serve coffee station and eclectic vibes. After 5 years of meals, I highly recommend the salmon biscuit but can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

I wanted a coffee and saw this restaurant and decided to stop, I'm so happy I did. The food came out quick and it was delicious. I had the salmon croquettes with grits and eggs, and i would definitely recommend. It came with a homemade biscuit that was buttery and flakey, my favorite! I also can't go without mentioning that the coffee was good too, they also have tea and juice options that I will be trying in the future.

Oh my my my! I had the salmon croquettes and they reminded me of my mother's delicious southern cooking! The food was hot fresh to order. I will most definitely be back again and again!

Everything was excellent and the basil lemonade was a super unique drink that they make. Perfect small town feel just outside of downtown Atlanta.

I give this place five stars! The staff treats you like family, the kind you love to have around. I ordered salmon patties with eggs and grits, they were amazing! The vanilla latte. The fish, grits and eggs were delicious also. The highlight of everything is the frozen basil lemonade, the small is $5.00 and the large is $6.00. It's definitely worth trying.
