If I could give this place a zero after today I would. Yall have the worse person no customer skills whatsoever running the registers and to go orders. I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve never had an experience like today. I went in for a Uber eats pick up order that I did for myself. When I first got there there was no line hardly anyway there the girl stated the order wasn’t ready so I sat down patiently after 3:40 and maybe 7 people my order still isn’t ready but those people have been serviced.. I go to the counter ask another young lady about my order and she says they have to drop more chicken so apparently my order is lost in the sauce at this point so yes I’m a little upset I ask the girl with the scarf (horrible presentation ) about my order she had the basket attitude I asked about how long if she could check she says 10 more minutes after waiting 45 min I asked for a refund she argued with me that I wasn’t the customer on the Uber eats order shows me and what do you know it’s ME the customer I will not be going back EVER

This is my last time eating here sadly they charge $20 for 3 scoops of veggies and when I mean 1 scoop that’s all you get, Ican see the bottom of the to go plate!! Im pretty sure this is black owned and it’s sad to see overpriced food like this, I’m going to chipotle.

If salt is your favorite "seasoning", this is your place to go. Everything was way salty including the peach cobbler! Any other flavor way overwhelmed and my dining partner agreed. NOT what I consider authentic southern cooking and way overpriced for what you get from this take out only dining.

DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANT THE FOOD YOU ORDERED TO BE CORRECT. I never rate things but I feel so robbed right now that I had to come here and attempt to save any pitiful souls for wasting their money here. Let me start by saying this place is a scam and an affront to the service industry. I ordered meatloaf, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, lemonade, and sweet potato pie. What I received was anything but. I got rice instead of mashed potatoes. I'll add that it is so overcooked I could make a sculpture with the mush on this plate. The meatloaf was in a pile just thrown about. The cornbread turned to crumbs as soon as I opened it. I was given 3 small bottles instead of a half gallon lemonade. And the cherry on top, I ordered pie and received store bought lemon cake. Not once was I notified of a change. They took it upon themselves to pick my substitutes for me. All this terrible service and mediocre food could also be brought to your door for $60. Do not waste your time like I did please. There are so many other small businesses that serve amazing food around, avoid this trash at all costs. You will walk away hungry and frustrated. The weight of your empty pocket will feel a whole lot worse after all that let me tell you.

Having a hard time justifying why the cake slices should be over $8. Guess I should've asked how much before I said "I'll take a slice." I figured $5, $6 at the most considering the size. Nope, $8.35 per this receipt.
Side note: now that I've had a chance to analyze this receipt I'm just now realizing the extra charge to use their ccard machine. Passing your fee off to the customers, eh? Well, guess it's almost like a built-in "tip." ?

The cobbler was pretty good. It is a little pricey for a small. Nevertheless, I opened the container with my peach cobbler and noticed they didn’t fill up the cup. ($10.05)

Meatloaf tasted like beef jerky, the mac noodles were separated from the cheese / weird consistency. The bottled fruit punch is powdered kool aid they mixed in house. Cornbread was good, cabbage was good, pork chops breading was falling off like it wasn’t even breaded to begin with. I may have ordered the wrong items and if I’m ever forced to go back, I will try something else.

We recently had the pleasure of visiting Ms. Ruby's Peach Cobbler during our trip from Arizona. This charming eatery, featuring traditional recipes passed down from Al's grandmother, exceeded all our expectations. The enticing photos on the menu drew us in, and the flavors of the dishes were nothing short of delightful - each dish seasoned to perfection. Personal favorites included the flavorful dressing, crispy fried chicken, soulful greens, and of course, the signature peach cobbler dessert. It's impossible to choose just one standout dish as each one left us thoroughly satisfied. We will definitely make it a point to revisit this gem whenever we are back in town.
