I think they've gone out of business but the place was always busy. Especially when they had drink specials. College kids would come here all the time. I hope they decide to open again. They play loud Spanish music and the tacos are amazing. You get a lot for your money.

This place is just fun! The drinks are good, music for everyone, the food is great and awesome environment! I had the salmon nachos and I'll definitely get it again!

Sat outside for a first date, drinks only obvi. Did not have the mojitos on special they were supposed to so we got margs. They weren't very good, tasted full of the cheap sugary mix. The mens bathroom was also gross, flies in there and no hand soap. Didn't try the food but may not be sanitary judging from the bathroom.

This food is cheap and gross. I had the chicken nachos. They were decent because of the cheese. NO COMPLIMENTARY tortilla chips. That was a first! The salmon taco was BLAND at best, with a STRONG hint of FISHY FLAVOR!!! Everbody knows that salmon must be cleaned with lemon or vinegar to get rid of the fishy taste! Go somewhere else.

Taco Tuesday veggie tacos we're popping. they stay busy so go ahead and do yourself a favor and ask for any kind of mentioned he's ahead of time because by the time they get them and come back your food to be gone or cold if you end up waiting. I don't eat meat but both veggie taco options were slamming my girl have the shrimp tacos which she said we're great.

DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!! My party and I were told we could sit anywhere upon arrival; however the tables downstairs were all filthy so we went upstairs. We were told we could sit anywhere except where the private party was sitting so we sat at a table further down across from the private party. We sat down at 11:12.. 20 minutes passed and we were still not acknowledged. I got up and spoke with a gentleman who said we weren't supposed to sit upstairs. Once I informed him we were told we could sit anywhere and that all the open tables downstairs were dirty he said he would be with us in a few more minutes. When he finally came over to our table we were ready to order right away. He took our orders and came back 20 minutes later with waters for the table only to inform us the kitchen was closed. I don't believe it took him 20 minutes to realize the kitchen was closed. He said he was a manager so that would mean he knows what time the kitchen closes each night. The kitchen was not closed when we arrived. Had we had prompt service the kitchen would not have been closed before we placed our orders. Also if the kitchen was closed after we sat and waited all that time, why take our orders only to tell us it's too late? And to add insult to injury bring us all waters. Why would we stay to drink water if we weren't going to be served any food? The situation was frustrating and handled very poorly. I will not return.

It was a nice atmosphere. I went with my husband and 2 children. They didn't have a Childrens meníº to accommodate them though. The drink were great and the food was ok. My husband and I are vegan so I thought our order would be simple but they still added cheese and sour cream to what we ordered even though we told them not too. But overall it was ok.

This place cannot be recommended. Gave two stars instead of one because the tacos were fine. They are clearly penny-pinching their failing business and it is going downhill. Not open on time; no overhead lights on in the daytime; premade over-sugared margaritas; understaffed; unenthusiastic service; unclean bathrooms; everything falling to disrepair; several listen menu items unavailable. Hopefully they turn things around and re-invest in the business. In this state Prickly Pear will shut its doors by year end.

We called 3 times to see if they were open and got no answer. We decided to walk over there anyway. The open sign was illuminated, but when we walked in there was no one in sight. Not a customer or worker. We waited to see if anyone would greet us and no one did. Would not recommend

This place is good if you want to drink with your friends in a fun environment. Look out for their half-off on margaritas on Thursdays. The Mango Margaritas and the Texas Gold are really good! It's more of a college hangout spot since it's right next to Georgia Tech's campus. The ambiance is lively and they have some good music playing as well. It does get crowded sometimes though so there is a line on some days! There are two floors and an outdoor seating area as well, but the Atlanta weather is quite unpredictable these days so sitting outside might not be an option. The food is better than average. I got the chicken fajita which had a good portion size. The chicken wasn't very soft but it was tasty. I have never had a bad experience with fajitas as it is something you can't go wrong with. My friends got the chicken quesadilla, veggie quesadilla, and the cheese enchiladas and they liked it. Drop by if you want to just relax with your friends and have fun. Don't expect yelp-status food but expect stellar margaritas!

This was our first time and we enjoyed it! I'm so thankful we sat at the bar because the two bartenders were amazing! You also can't beat these prices!! It is loud on weekends so if you're going to conversate or catch up with friends I would choose a different spot. I loved it and will be back! Thank you!
