Fantastic brunch! Fried chicken and biscuits, waffles, fried green tomatoes - hit all the spots. The Bible Belt no alcohol before 11am was a bummer though! Wanted to try the signature bloody. Next timeâ¦

Very nice environment. The waitress was very nice, not too overbearing checked in on our dinner just enough.

Waiter gave excellent recommendations. Cocktails for those who had them were great. Try the spoon bread.

Our server was friendly but she didnt seem to understand the severity of my peanut allergy. I asked if anything has peanuts or if I should avoid anything and she told me to stay away from something that had pine nuts. She didnât mention the cauliflower that had peanuts in it. Never said sheâd check with the kitchen on any items to see if maybe peanut oil or anything could be involved. Itâs a good thing Iâve been there before and knew I could eat the shrimp and grits, otherwise we wouldâve left. The shrimp and grits was ok. Very tomatoey sauce. My friend ordered the flounder and said it wasnât good. She felt it was more bones than fish and she didnât like that she wasnât told it would be served with some sort of green sauce on top. My old 4th tea and her country thyme lemonade were delicious. So were the fried green tomatoes (which, once again, I knew I could eat).

South City Kitchen is always excellent. Split the mussels and had a ceaser salad with salmon on it. Was very very good!

Noise level is fine on the veranda but extremely noisy inside the restaurant itself.

Food and service was great. Was disappointed the location was not handicapped accessible. My father is in a wheelchair and couldnât access the bathroom which was up a flight of stairs. Also no ramp to get in the restaurant .

Good experience, good food, good service.........

The food is ALWAYS delicious here. The service was a little slower than we would have liked in particular receiving waters and cocktails. Appetizers came out more timely and main courses were in line. Dessert came out super fast. The restaurant was very busy. All in all, a great dining experience.
