I discovered this restaurant last year and have along with my boyfriend spent hundreds ordering online and placing take out orders in the restaurant. I order the Jerk Chicken pasta pretty often and while it is usually super dry I placed an order last week and it was the creamiest, most disgusting pasta I’ve ever tasted. There was so much cream that I couldn’t reach the chicken and noodles and of course wasn’t able to finish due to the overwhelming sauce throughout the dish. I have enjoyed some of my meals but overall the pasta is either too dry and in this case too creamy and we have grown tired of spending money here and not being satisfied with the food. This is our local neighborhood Jamaican restaurant and while we wanted to support no longer can comfortably do so.

Sooo I loveeeee brown stew chicken, this was not it! They make friend chicken & put it in brown stew gravy. This is what the server told me herself. The server was great! but the food was not the best. Ive also never been to a restaurant that was out of plantains. NEVER.

I love coming here. I order ahead online because this place is very popular. I only gave 4 stars because of the cabbage. It used to be amazing but now bell peppers are being added and it throws off the taste. Please remove bell peppersParking: Open parking lot due to the location of the restaurant so it’s never a problem.
Jerk chicken was cold. They did reheat it for more and it was much better. Overall is a nice place. I would definitely recommend. First time I went the place was perfect, 2nd time...not so great. I am going back.

Overall the food is good but if don’t want to wait 10-15 mins for a beef patty DO NOT COME HERE. I find it to be the most ridiculous wait time for a ready made menu item. The coco bread was also hard as a rock. You would think after waiting 10-15 mins the bread would at least be fresh. It was not. I purchased two patties and a coco bread and my total was $13.50. This place is over priced in my opinion.
My wife and I had escovitch fish and we both enjoyed it. The service was impeccable and the staff was friendly. We appreciate Sylvia who took care of us at the bar. I recommend this restaurant fully.
