Been wanting to come to Watchman's for ages, and finally stopped by! Had an assortment of oysters which were perfectly described and delicious. The Watchman was excellent, comes with two garnishes to choose from, including a super uniquely brined olive (tbh I wanted to take a jar of them home!). Would definitely recommend for a date night.

Came here for oysters and cocktails with a group of four. Between the four of us, we tried eight or so cocktails and they were all incredibly well balanced and interesting. Oysters were great, as always.

I called Watchman's at 8:45 pm on New Year's Eve after a few other places had told me they either weren't doing pick up or delivery orders or that it was too late to order. They put together a dozen oysters, ceviche, and a shrimp roll all wonderfully packed within 20 minutes. When I got to the restaurant, they were distancing tables inside the restaurant and had heaters running outside to open up their patio. The staff took an extra few minutes to give me some pointers on shucking oysters for the first time and everything turned out perfectly. I will say the Murder Point oysters are a bit tricky to shuck if it's your first time because the hinge isn't quite as accessible. Can't wait to go back in person sometime soon!

Went here for oyster happy hour with a friend. The oysters were the best I've had in atlanta so far! They were truly excellent. I also got a dirty martini and it was good but not as salty as I would've liked -- it was more herbal / citrusy.

Truly an amazing experience. Chef Eric has an astounding concept of flavors and meld along with the bartenders who will make you the best drinks of your lives. Every bite and sip leaves you wanting more. This place is truly one of a kind, and explore the restraint and their decor it's an amazing ambiance.

We had an unplanned stop for oysters the day before Thanksgiving and what a great experience. Susie our server was so helpful and attentive. The raw oysters were amazing and I can’t wait to go back.

I went this past weekend. I appreciate that they accept reservations and we were promptly seated when we arrived. The atmosphere was nice. A good date night spot. We had the crab dip which was delicious and the oysters are pretty much a la carte. So you pick the ones you wan5 and you pay per Oyster. Tried 3 different kinds, nothing special, they were ok. Ordered the Shrimp roll and fries. Again, just ok nothing to make a trip to try. Overall my experience wasn't terrible but I wasn't "Wow'd" either. If I friends in town visiting, I would probably take them somewhere else.

Gorgeous space with a cool lush patio that feels just separate enough from the rest of Krog Street Market. While the market itself is the epitome of hustle and bustle, Watchman's feels like a reprieve from the pace. For my first stop in town, we came here for discounted oysters during happy hour. A bit shocked to see no happy hour cocktail pricing (where's the fun in that?), so we shot the oysters instead (bad joke, sorry). I like how the menu describes the taste, plus the knowledgable server who was able to make recommendations. As a Maryland girl, I have OPINIONS about my seafood. The brinier, the better. While the oysters and my Paloma were good, we spent quite a bit on the happy hour, but left needing more food. Visit, but definitely don't come hungry :)
Best place in Krog. Super nice staff. Great oysters and corn. The best Caesar salad I have had in Atlanta. The owner is extremely nice. The bartenders are fabulous. Will recommend it for sure

Great variety of oysters I clouding some west coast varieties. Entrées were well portioned and tasty, with decent cocktails. I liked the painkiller in particular. Attentive service and a low key atmosphere if that's what you're looking for. Not a bad spot for dinner, drinks or both at Krog Market.
