The food was great, can’t wait to try more dishes. Lots of choices, almost couldn’t decide but went with Steamed dumplings and Salt & pepper calamari for our appetizers. For our entree’s, we had the Hunan Chicken and Green pepper steak w/ Lo Mein (not pictured). Both tasted great! The atmosphere was cozy and the restaurant was clean. Carmen, the server was great! Awesome personality! Definitely recommend to try this place out!

This is a great restaurant. Everything I have ever ordered has been excellent. Best in Augusta by far

I hate to tell you how good it is because I want to be sure it doesn’t get so crowded I cannot get a table but it is great food.

I’m always pro-women businesses, but the two times I’ve been here I’ve had the same experience. I’ve asked two different waitresses if my selection was spicy and both said no. After a few bites I was choking from chili and my face broke out in itchy tears. At one dining, to top it off, I was charged twice. Uh, gotta laugh as I’m fairly chill, but I’m never going back!

The hot and sour soup was excellent, as well as the rest of our order. The service was great too. Definitely recommend.

My hopes weren't that high for finding a quality Chinese restaurant in Augusta, let alone a vegetarian-friendly one. But I found this little spot in a shopping center on the outskirts and they're doing some stuff right. I was drawn in by a wallet-friendly lunch special menu, which yielded a decent variety of vegetable and tofu-based options. My tofu with hot peppers was a very credible Hunan-style dish as the place's name would suggest, with dried hot peppers and a lively black bean sauce. The option for brown or fried rice was no extra charge, or if you did want to pay more you could get lo mein instead. I added a spring roll, which compared to my main dish was a bit overpriced but was tasty and, as with the other dishes around me, nicely plated. Their menu suggests a Malaysian influence as well, and I'd be happy to return for dinner to try something different.

The place was bustling and nearly full when we arrived at 5:45 on a Monday night. I can see why, food was great, service was quick, and prices were reasonable. We ordered some of the Malaysian and Thai specialties at the recommendation of our server. The spicy curry dish was delicious and included a mix of standard 'stir fry mix' vegetables as well as some fresh seasonal veggies. The Malaysian noodle dish needed a touch of the house special hot sauce but with that addition was excellent. For kids you can easily accommodate the pickiest eaters here with sides like plain steamed veggies and rice, we were also able to order plain tofu which is our preschooler's favorite food. I can't wait to go back and try some of the classic Chinese American menu items. This place will be our go to Chinese restaurant in Augusta. Dont miss the house hot sauce if you like a little spice!!!

Hunan remains of one of our absolute favorite restaurants. We go often, mostly take out but love dining in as well. Sabrina and the entire team are so kind, efficient, and hard working. The food is ALWAYS good and consistent.

We have been here a couple times. The food is fantastic! We have tried several places in the area and have been disappointed. Hunan Cafe's quality of food is equivalent to food in New York City. If you have not tried this place you are not getting authentic Chinese that will knock your socks off!!!

I wish I could have gave this place no stars. When I tell you I will never ever ever go back again. The food was horrible payee 70 dollars and had no flavor. When I ordered the wings and they said they only had one flavor I should have hung up the phone. Don't eat here.

Spicy garlic chicken was an incredible plate of vegetables and chicken in a delicious sweet and spacey sauce. Highly recommend

I've known the owners for years! Hands down the best quality food in town. No one else comes close.

Hands down the best Chinese food in Martinez and I’d argue that it’s the best in the entire augusta, ga! Original owners for over 15 years. Same location. Best quality food! I grew up eating here and now I live in Atlanta. Every time I’m home visiting, I make it a priority to eat at Hunan! It’s honestly the best Chinese food I’ve had anywhere!
