After waiting over an hour after being told a 25 minute wait, the jerk chicken was slathered in bbq (which is a change of recipe from the last time I ordered). When I mentioned this, I was told that it wasn't bbq but a special sauce made with bbq (uhhh still bbq). When I said I didn't like it and couldn't eat it because I don't like bbq sauce, I was told I was entitled to my opinion. So, I said thank you, bye. I could hear him trying to argue with me as I hung up. I wasn't even going to leave a review, I just wanted to give my feedback verbally. Rude and the wait is too long. I won't be back.
I've eaten here 4 times and each time the food was absolutely delicious. I tried Jamaican Way a d although the food was ok, it was overpriced and way less food. Jamaican Hut definitely has a new loyal customer. I order at least twice a week. There is a wait so be patient!

The food was very flavorful!Like many reviews have stated, the wait time was lengthy. Normally, I don't hold it against quality (you can't rush art), however ~30 mins is excessive for 1 meal during non peak hours.Also, my initial option (jerk chicken) wasn't available. When asked how long until it would be, one staff member shrugged his shoulders while another who overheard the conversation said 2 hours.Why would this not be something done before opening?The overall "service" wasn't welcoming. Despite providing quality food, the experience left much to be desired.

The place was about 90 degrees inside. And they don't serve tea. They have $2 bottled drinks, and no refills.The music was so loud, I couldn't hear what the counter man was saying to me.I got the oxtails with cabbage.The oxtails and the cabbage were both overdone. The rice was underdone. It was crunchy.They don't have any bathrooms in the place.

Yes, the wait is long. However, I don't think people understand how long it takes to cook AUTHENTIC food. Especially, meats such as goat/beef, which can't be cooked in an hour (these take time). I am not sure what their prep process routine is and maybe that can be improved so that the delays in wait time lessens. Nonetheless, the food is WELL WORTH it, the guys are friendly and very appreciative. Caribbean food is not some instantaneous gratification fast food joint ?? you're bound to be waiting 30-45minutes. Be patient people and order when you are not in a rush or not that very hungry but will be ??

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. If you order online for pickup, your food won't be ready at the designated time or anywhere near the time, because this place doesnt open at the time its supposed to open. If you order delivery, the delivery drivers leave because even after 40 minutes, the food isn't ready. This place lacks customer service. They never apologize for the wait. Instead you deal with attitudes as if youre inconveniencing them.e.g. I placed an order at 1215PM. When the first delivery driver arrived, the food wasn't ready. She waited about 10 minutes and then she left. Another delivery driver arrived 20 min later. The food still wasn't ready. I know she waited at least an additional 15 minutes. By this time, the food was over an hour past the estimated delivery time. The driver left the restaurant at 140PM. From 1215 to 140 is not acceptable. I've been more than patient with this place on several occasions. The lack of customer service and slowness is utterly ridiculous at this point and I will not be patronizing this "restaurant" again.

Operating hours are not the same as posted. These folks show up when they want to. They don't answer the phone at times either. It is currently 11:30 on a Thursday. I attempted to order ahead, because they are SO slow, but no one answers. I decide to head on over and the business isn't open, yet there are cars there. Workers are just starting to show up. Doors locked. I tried to go in one more time before leaving and a man opens the door and says to wait another 20-30 minutes. I could have avoided wasting so much time had I gone to Jamaica WAY like I usually do, but this place was closer. I am fair when I do reviews...I weigh the good and the bad. But my last few experiences with this place have shown me that I need to spend my money where it's appreciated and where consumer retention matters.CUSTOMER SERVICE IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS THE PRODUCT YOU MAKE.
