We arrived early and sat immediately. Our waitress was welcoming and friendly. We ordered raw oysters, a Captain's Platter and rainbow trout. Everything was prepared admirably. The oysters were cold and fresh, the trout was delectable and the platter was filling. Look forward to our next time.
It is fresh seafood, so its not cheap. And the hours are inconvenient for people with a regular schedule.

Hush puppies are legitimate the best I’ve ever had. I know, big claim. I mean it.
I got the Captain’s Platter and my wife got battered fried halibut. The tomato stew side was savory and so good.
We came here with a family of 8. The wait was minimal. Although seating was limited they made it work and sat us across from each other—no problem at all.
And Melanie who served us is an angel!

This was our first visit and we are so glad we decided to go to this restaurant!! It was busy so we sat “outside”, it’s totally screened in with fans and giant portable AC unit, it was very comfortable. The service was great! Everything came out much faster than anticipated! Our waitress with blonde hair (unfortunately we didn’t get her name) was awesome, very attentive even though busy, knowledgeable of the menu and a great personality to boot! The food was spectacular!! The fried oysters were some of the very best we’ve had, including those we’ve gotten in FL! The grilled halibut was the best I’ve ever had! The portions were very generous and everything was cooked to perfection! We will definitely be coming back on our next visit!! The only sign outside it a “Fresh Seafood” on the lower front of the building, making it a tab bit hard to find, keep a keen eye out; you will not be disappointed!!
We ate at Jolly Roger for the first time last evening. Food was delicious. The coconut shrimp is wonderful and portions plentiful! My husband had the grilled trout. It was flaky and tasteful. Coleslaw, okra, rice pilaf, and hushpuppies were all good. A little onion in the hushpippies would be tasty. The service was friendly. We'll be back!
