Nice higher-end restaurant. The appetizer was really good. The entrees were great, and the house Cabernet was one of the best I’ve had. I’ll absolutely be back

I ordered a $70 dry aged steak medium rare. It was definitely not a prime cut, as it wasn't particularly tender, medium rare on one end medium well on the other, and a little chewy. And the steak knives they give you are cheap dull serated knivies that i had to saw the steak rather than cut.

The good: outstanding service. Our waiter loved his job and it showedThe restaurant is tastefully decorates and has a wonderful outside patio - it was a bit cold at 38°F for dining out there, but it would be great during better weather.Five of us ate. My companions all had delicious meals. The avocado fries appetizer and the bread were excellent. The not so good: the lettuce on my burger was not fresh. The burger was sp overcooked my wife noticed (ordered medium). But a friend's cobb salad was great, my wife had a salad with shrimp that was great. The chicken melt was excellent.I'll be back, but maybe not for a burger.

I usually reserve 5 stars for special places that go a bit further. This place is one of those special finds that is worthy of a second visit just to relive the amazing flavors and very kind staff. They even have a classic car on display with white walls and wooden spoke tires to boot.Attached is pictures of crab risotto and sea scallops on a pea risotto along with a creme brulee to split.

Update 2023- they have 1 vegan option on the menu. :( I had the truffle pasta. It is forest mushrooms and vegan almond cream sauce over pasta. I also had the bread and a basil olive oil dipping sauce. I think I tasted a hint of lemon in the dipping sauce. I am thrilled this restaurant has vegan options and all the way to the bread dipping sauce. The truffle pasta was delicious. It is creamy and there is a texture which reminds me of parmesan cheese. The dish is more flavorful than an usual alfredo sauce. The mushrooms are browned and sauteed perfectly. The bread and the dipping sauces were good. I got a lunch portion and will finish it for dinner. The restaurant is the most upscale place I can think of in the city. This is a nice place to take a date. There is also outside seating. It probably looks even better at night. I saw outdoor lights. I am going to have to come back at night. The service was fast and friendly getting me my order. The atmosphere was was very cozy. I know the restaurant is beautiful during the holidays. Service was good, just a little slow but that may have been because we were a large party. The food was fantastic!

While the service was amazing and the interior of the restaurant was very comfortable, the quality of the food was just slightly below what you'd expect for the price range. Overcooked potatoes and chicken were a disappointment, otherwise an enjoyable meal. Expect to spend $20-40 per person.

Finally, Dalton has a fine dining establishment. The great thing is, it doesn’t feel pretentious as a lot of fine dining places do. Fantastic food and reasonable prices are what to expect here.We started out with an appetizer each. I got Fontina Fondue (Parmesan, fontina, and cream cheeses) that you dip bread strips and vegetables into. My husband got the French onion soup which came with two mini grilled cheese sandwiches! Shortly after, we were served the side salads to our entrees. My entree was my shining star of the evening. A full rack of lamb on a bed of Yukon mashed potatoes and vegetables, it was literally amazing. Hubby got the jambalaya pasta (with handmade noodles). He loved the sauce and the pasta, just wished he had asked for no tomatoes. His top pick of the evening was our dessert, the apple cobbler with ice cream. It was the perfect end to the perfect meal.Cyra’s really made our anniversary one to remember, and we will be returning.
