Bro I wasted about $43 for the food for it to taste bad first the shish taste like it’s been there of a good while. The hot and sour soup did not taste right and had some red sauce chunk in the soup it also tasted like it been there for a long time the shrimp tempura was so dry it. And I also got pork dumplings they tasted weird they were not how it’s supposed to taste, cause I tried another restaurant and they taste good. And I also got the Bento box shrimp The only thing out of everything I ordered was just a white rice that came in the bento box. I wish I would’ve gone back yesterday to go and get my refund but I was too scared. But I will not be going again and I’m a little mad that I wasted $43 for nothing

I usually really enjoy Kumo but it Friday night was rough. Server was not attentive. We were told the steak was a NY strip it was a sirloin. There was no seasoning or flavor to the steak and the rice as well. Asked for medium rare it came out well done. No drink refills. Floor was extremely greasy. There was another server that just kept walking by our table and staring the entire meal. And we tried to try a new sushi roll and it taste like smoked charcoal. Tried to speak to server about the roll and all she said was "yeah" laughed, and threw it in the trash. The veggies were cooked to perfection and the spicy girl roll was amazing. But it may be a while before we go back. This place used to be my pick over fuji but I think I maybjust stick to Chattanooga hibachi.

My fiancé and I were frequent customers but after todays experience we will not be going back. My fiancé, our daughter, and his friend went to eat at Kumos today. After being seated and having ordered their drinks, the manager approaches their table and rudely tells my fiancé that he cannot share his drink with our TWO year old daughter. Our daughter being the curious child that she is only had few sips because she wanted to taste what he was drinking. There was no need for the manager to be rude about the situation. Also, they felt rushed to leave, bringing the bill before they were even finished eating. I also want to add that the quality of the food has also declined (the chicken is always super dry) Kumo is not what it once was.

I’ve been going here for years, they have little fish to greet you at the entrance, the staff is always super nice and will do their best to serve you well. I personally like the salmon hibachi and a couple sushi rolls. Both are delicious and priced just
Nice atmosphere for lunch. Hot spicy food served up hot and fast.

I travel for work, and found this to be the closest sushi and hibachi place. Prices were decent.First red flag: At the front desk (where you order to go, which also happens to be where they prepare the sushi as well...don't ask me why), and the guy preparing sushi finished making a roll, and right behind him, there is a $20 toaster over. He proceeds to pop the sushi in there. I thought that was a little odd, but didn't worry too much, as I got either cold, or deep fried rolls. The tempura sushi I ordered (two different type, one shrimp, one lobster) had a crunch so hard that it felt like I was chewing on a crouton. The avocado inside the rolls was completely brown. They didn't even include chopsticks in my to go order. For sushi?!The hibachi was even worse. The chicken was wayyyy overcooked, extremely chewy. I had to put FIVE cups of yum yum sauce just to make it somewhat edible. I still had to spit out 1 in every 3 pieces. I also got a filet mignon & chicken hibachi dinner. Chicken was horrible, and the steak was absolutely not filet. It wasn't cooked medium like I asked, it was full of fat, and they gave me maybe 6 peices in the entire dinner. I was only able to eat one, the rest I had to chew for minutes before spitting out.I've had bad steak hibachi, but that was because I just ordered the regular steak, and not filet. Once I switched to filet, I realized how much better it was. This place however, does not give you filet.Just the fact that they felt comfortable serving straight up brown avocado in my rolls, makes me sick thinking about what else they used that was way past date.Good thing I only work here once a year, and was able to find out how bad this place is, so I don't go here next year!Stay away if you like fresh food that isnt overcooked.Check picture to see the browned avocado, also...that is the total amount of crab they put on top, one little strand. You know that feeling after you eat something when you are so hungry and don't even care about the taste....then you get full and start to realize how disgusting it was, and now you feel sick? Yeah, that's this place.

This is our favorite restaurant!!! They don't cook in front of you, but we're totally cool with that. Theatrics don't make the food taste any better. The staff are great and super helpful when explaining menu items. The menu has a nice variety of different sushi, sashimi, appetizers, and hot meal items. The rice is ALWAYS, ALWAYS, on par!!!!! This is the place where you get more than what you pay for! The serving sizes are pretty big and we always have leftovers, even with the lunch portions. It's definitely a sweet little place when you are looking to enjoy a nice, quiet meal with loved ones! Our daughter says that their food is made with love! The presentation of the food is always lovely! 11 out of 10, we do recommend Kumo as THE place to go for sushi and hibachi type foods!!!

Before the pandemic, this place was awesome. My family and I ate there often. The food and service were very good. But in the past couple of years it has changed tremendously. The food is no longer the quality it once was. The service is definitely not as good.

We went on a Saturday night it was not full so they gave us a table right away we were a party of 4. The spring rolls with the sauce was so delicious, for my taste buds I did not like the clear soup no body in my group did. Their chicken teriyaki was very delicious their fried rice was ok. Overall we enjoyed ourselves.
