Just seems like generic Mexican food. Store-bought tortillas for sure. How was this place supposed to be caribbean?

The yuca fried was plentiful and delicious. I am not a big fan of the ketchup-mayo dipping sauce it comes with, but another person at the table liked it. The empanadas were tasty and high quality shredded beef inside. The Don Julio margarita I had was strong but not my favorite tbh.The prices here are generally more expensive than going to Papi's Cuban, but Armandos is the only place like this around for a 20 minute drive.

I've been a loyal customer of Armando's for about 10 years and have always been impressed with the amazing food. However, my recent visit was marred by unusually poor service from our server, Carlos S. We were initially greeted and served drinks by another server, but then had to wait around 10 minutes just to order an appetizer. After taking our order, Carlos did not check on us for the rest of the evening, leaving us to seek assistance from two other waitresses for ordering our entrees, desserts ,and drink refills. He kept walking past our table as if he didn't see us. I truly believe in tipping for good service, but the lack of attention from our assigned server made me wish I could have tipped the two ladies who actually helped us instead. I hope this was just an off night and not a reflection of a decline in service quality. The 2 stars are for the two ladies who helped me out.
Armando's food is amazing! We've done take out on several occasions and we've always had a great experience. We've had the Pollo a la Parrilla with black beans and yellow rice, Arroz con Pollo, Paella Valenciana, Salmon Burrito, and Queso Dip, and the Fish Cubano. The food is always very well seasoned with great portions. The service for taking orders and picking up takeout is also great. We've never dined in but it's always a full house whenever we go to pick up our food.

This was our first time and we decided to splurge for delivery. We ordered the salmon burrito, the chicken cuban sandwich and some toastones and steak with scrumptious sauce. This was a fantastic meal, full of flavors and textures and hot! We will be dining here soon! Thanks for a delicious and satisfying meal ?
