Decent stay but the rooms are dated, some of the furniture cracked and delaminated, wallpaper peeling... not that we couldn't sleep because of it but just saying, those are quick fixes unless it's maybe time to replace. This place needs a little TLCRooms: Rooms need an update, carpet, furniture, bathroom... I didn't want to be dramatic and list all that there is but... just saying.Nearby activities: Decent restaurants and venuesWalkability: Very good accessibility and nice pats to walk or bikeFood & drinks: Good for a bite pretty much all day... breakfast, lunch or dinner

We had to change rooms to very loud noise next to the first room. We were only stopping for a few hours of sleep so we did not want any interruptions. The staff switched our room no problem and notified the guest of a noise complaint. The room felt damp (like needing a dehumidifier) the reason for 3 stars on the room. And they also charged $75 for a pet.

Wasn't sure about this location or where the hotel was in relation to the arena, but I lucked up!!!!! Walked in and the staff was AMAZING from the start! Very attentive, very knowledgeable about the area and how close restaurants and grocery stores were, and what was open and closed when I got there(mid-day). Also gave me great walking directions to the arena. Room was comfy, clean, and it was a very quiet hotel. Felt very safe walking to and from the arena. I would hands downs recommend this location to anyone seeing a show at the arena! Thank you so much for being a wonderful place to stay!!!!!!

We had a terrible experience! Upon checking in the staff was not helpful at all! We got checked in and went to our room. I reserved a crib/bassinet for our 4 month old daughter. When we went to the front desk to let her know, She said they don't have any. So our daughter had go sleep in the bed with us. I did not get any sleep because I was so scared we were going to roll over on her. On top of that the carpet was very sticky and the AC was loud and squeaky. My husband got breakfast the next morning and got a bill for the breakfast food. No signs of any sort that said breakfast was not free! We paid $12 a peice for a terrible breakfast. I would have been happier with chik fillet! When we checked out I asked the new receptionist about these things and I got an apology but no compensation per the manager! I've never been to a holiday inn and the breakfast not been complimentary! This was with out a doubt the worst experience I've ever had!Food & drinks: Terrible

The maintenance in this place is non-existent. Our assigned room was disgusting, not cleaned at all, toilet unflushed, trash on the ground, the whole works. Had to go to the desk to ask for another room. Multiple roaches seen in the new room and the toilet didn’t even function properly. After leaving, I didn’t unpack my suitcase for a few weeks, then made the mistake of opening it indoors and neglecting to bag the laundry. That same day I started getting bites overnight. This place has BEDBUGS. Ruined my sleep for a week until I got a box spring encasement.Keep suitcases zipped and all belongings off the floor and away from the beds!

Many things were going wrong at this hotel, so we considered ourselves lucky. The a/c was definitely on the fritz in our room but other rooms went out completely. A toilet seat broken off is both a housekeeping and maintenance issue. Somebody is not doing their job on blitzes. Front desk was very nice and we would stay again. Safe area!

Everything in the room was OK, there was visible wear and tear. The staff was awesome, polite and professional. The thing needing improvement is the wifi. It's not secure. Cellular reception in the building is very poor, almost non-existant.

This hotel has the worst customer service. I booked a wedding block for this hotel for the weekend of 5/19-21/23. My family booked 6 rooms total for the weekend. As a bride, I was running around up until the last minute AFTER my first wedding on that Friday which caused me to not be able to check in until my wedding was over which was in the early hours of Saturday, 5/20. Upon arriving, the front desk clerk, Cece, immediately told me that she had canceled my booking because of a "corporate decision". This included 3(canceled) rooms, totaling 6 that had been booked and paid for weeks prior. This left my 89 year old grandmother, my 80 year old aunt AND myself without a room at 2am.As the bride, this upset me beyond measure because I had no where to sleep to prepare for my next wedding which was just hours away at this point. I also did NOT have anywhere for my bridal party to get their makeup down which in turn, ruined my wedding. I asked Cece for assistance and lamented how my wedding was ruined and her response was I can't do anything for you and that my wedding was not ruined. I asked her to call her front desk manager and the GM and she said they were unavailable. I myself, called Kimberly Bacon, the sales manager at the same time. After "Searching", Cece managed to produce 2 rooms that both had work orders in and technically weren't supposed to be given to any guests. The first room she offered me had an AC issue that included the room being ice cold. I declined that because my grandmother would not be able to sleep in a room that cold. The second room did not have a matching remote, I gave that to my aunt since my grandmother couldn't wait around anymore. As a side, because of this issue, my grandmother had to travel 2 hours away back home and missed her first grandchild walking down the aisle the next day.On Monday, 5/22, Kimberly Bacon reached out to me after hearing my distraught voicemail from the weekend. Over a series of emails and calls, Kimberly Bacon explained that what happened should not have happened and assured me that she would resolve the issue overall. To this day, 6/10, the issue has not been resolved. Kim has assured me that she has made her GM, Trina aware and to this day, Trina has not bothered to respond or give a final resolution.I have tried to be patient with holidays and the such but it has gotten to the point that I had to write a review that maybe that would get their attention since making use of email and phone calls have not produced any resolution.I say all this to say, that in all my years of traveling and using IHG branded hotels, this has been the worst customer service I have ever recieved. To any bride that has a wedding in the surrounding area, I URGE you to NOT book a hotel wedding block with this IHG in that they can't guarantee that you will even have a room to come to on your wedding day.

Stayed for a week. The staff was very friendly, and helpful. Really liked the fantastic breakfast every day. Head Chef Destiny was amazing! Manager Sophie was incredible, had a issue with water , no fault of the hotel, and she handled a very stressful situation with great care! Reggie for maintenance was over the top helpful!Only negative was that the foyer always seemed too warm, but then I tend to like the AC set to the ice storm.Really enjoyed my stay… the friendly staff made me feel at home!!!!Walkability: So close to all the events at the arenaFood & drinks: Restaurant was awesome! Only wish they offered room service.

We had the best time here! The staff is great and so friendly. Environment is clean. We came here for Kareoke and had so much fun! They host Kareoke every Thursdays from 7pm with free drinks and sometimes free food! We literally sang our lungs out, that night.

Great clean hotel! Had a few issues the first few nights others trying to get in our room, the cleaning crew thinking we were suppose to leave two days earlier than scheduled and the ice machines not working for a full day! Tried to comp with alcohol which we don’t .drink and then free breakfast which everyone who stays here gets a breakfast buffet every day which was amazing!! And our rooms ac amazing!!We were there to support my child and wife and grandchild as my second grand was still born! When we returned home I checked my credit card and someone at the hotel had compensated us half our stay!!!Not sure which employee went to bat for us but I am certainly grateful and will always chose holiday inn the next time we need a room! Thank you!!!

My sister and I were in the area for my child and their family where their second child was still born and for their support. There was the first few days we had others trying to get in our room and some confusion about what day we were supposed to leave. We were asked if we wanted a comped drink and neither of us drank! I spoke with several employees about the issues we were having and on the 3rd day I explained to the last employee that my sister had to come that day to the front desk because her key card didn’t work, they were turned off. She was able to get new ones and the young lady I spoke to that night said she would message her manager. Well she must have as we were charged half of what the original total came to! Whoever was instrumental in this action saved my horrible review! Whoever you are thank you with all my heart! I will stay at a holiday inn from this point forward!Rooms: Great AC, clean, soap, lotion, clean towels and room service daily!Nearby activities: Near my child’s home and Chick-fil-A and easy to leave and go back home!Food & drinks: Breakfast each morning was awesome. Ice machines were down one whole day!

I had a very nice stay at this Hotel. I met Kim Bacon the DOS and she had a wonderful personality so helpful! My room was spacious clean and comfy! Price was very good and it was a very cool area. I had dinner there, and two great margarita's. Its nice having everything under one roof! I met Alex the AGM..super great guy. Excellent stay

The room could have been cleaner with multiple hairs stuck to the wall, tub and sink within the bathroom. The coffee maker did not work. When I requested a new coffee maker the man behind the desk was less than helpful is getting another coffee maker to the room. When I explained I would be staying several days he told me someone would check it out later in the day. Lastly, if you are looking for a hotel with a quality fitness room, this hotel is not the place. No weights, one treadmill one bike. I wish I would have chosen one of the other hotels close by
