Absolutely freaking delicious!!! The people who work there obviously care about what they do and what they serve. I have never had a bad meal here. And the last time we went this adorably, sweet older lady brought us the most delicious appetizer unasked because we were waiting for a friend. We adore this place and everyone who works there. Thank you so much for being one of our favorite places!

It was just maybe ok. The ice tea was way to strong, taziki had a sweet flavor and the gyro meat had an odd flavor. Probably won't be back.

We visited on June 14, a very busy movie on-the-square weekend, but there were only about four or five people waiting for their orders and the few tables in the place were not full. It still took way more than 30 minutes to get our to-go order food. Someone did come out and apologize (without explanation) for the wait, but it was still about 10 more minutes. What we got tasted okay and the servings were adequate, yet I probably won't go back any time soon.

At the time of this review Main Street Mediterranean is a new offering for Downtown Duluth having been open for just a few weeks. I dined at the restaurant on a Thursday night with my companion. The inside of the restaurant was clean and well-appointed and rather quiet. The outside area was busy given how nice the weather was. I ordered the Shish Kabob, which turned out to be excellent. The meat was marinated, tender, and filled with flavor. The plate came with rice, a small salad, and some pita bread. The rice was fantastic, the salad tasted like the components were fresh, and the pita bread was soft and tasted freshly baked. My partner and I finished the meal with a slice of Limoncello cake that was served on a rather large rectangular plate drizzled with raspberry jam and caramel. The dessert was as good as the exceptional meal. In closing, this restaurant is quite the find, and well worth your time. I'm looking forward to trying some of the weekend specials that were teased for our next visit.
