First time at Saka-E.I ordered 3 special rolls (Trust Me, Caterpillar, Rainbow) and some Sashimi. There was nothing wrong with Sashimi. They were fresh and cleanly cut, and the presentation was well executed. However, the rolls were quite lacking, and this was a big deal for me since I’m more of a rolls guy than a Sashimi guy.1. Rolls were small and had stingy amounts of ingredients on the inside, resulting in the majority of its composition being made up of rice.2. Rolls were pretty much flavorless and no amount of soy sauce could fix it. Probably the result of the rolls having so much rice and very little of the other ingredients.3. Caterpillar roll didn’t come topped with eel sauce and they included tiny bits of eel on the inside. On the contrary, they included huge chunks of cream cheese so that’s literally all i could taste; yuck!If in the future I am looking for sashimi, then maybe, just maybe, I would return. However, I don’t see myself going back to Saka-E for their bland rolls.PS - Their salad dressing and miso soup were on point and delicious.

Visited this evening, and was greeted warmly. The whole setting with the private booths was very nice. I had a green tea and the smoked salmon/cream cheese tempura rolls and they were fantastic. It is too bad I'm just passing through, because if I were local, I'd be here often.

A lovely hidden gem! The food was delicious and the atmosphere is lovely. We were just driving through and found this place with the reviews and hit it out of the park. I live in ATL but I wish I lived closer so I could come here all the time. I loved it! Try it!

Insanely good. I travel for work m-f so I eat out 6-10 meals a week this has to be in my top 1-2! I’ve paid triple for food that wasn’t this good. I am here for a few days for work and will be doing dinner here every night till I head home. The price is super reasonable and the food is unmatched!

The service was really great even though we came in only an hour before closing and left a bit late. The server(Kevin) was attentive and answered any questions we had. The privacy curtains were a plus. The rice wine was great, and so were the side dishes. When I told them that I would be traveling a while before buying their side dishes in bulk, they packed a bag of ice so the food would stay fresh. It’s a quaint restaurant with good service and a welcoming vibe.

Damn another place that claims to make robatayaki but only serves mediocre sushi....... It's like going to a place that says steak house but they only serve pasta. Makes no sense to me.

Doesn't look anything fancy outside, but the food is incredible! Bulgogi is fantastic. Sashimi fresh and tasty. Service is wonderful, definitely recommend this one for a great meal!
Phenomenal! Everything tasted so good.. I took away a star because the rice they used on our sushi seemed old. It was hard and dried… but for them using old rice everything still tastes so delicious! Presentation was also very pretty. Service was very friendly. I will be back and hopefully they will have better rice. Will update.

We walked into Saka-E half an hour before they closed on a Saturday night. We were the only customers and were immediately greeted enthusiastically. We ordered the chicken udon, two sushi rolls, the nigiri appetizer, Cali roll, miso soup, and sake. They brought us spring rolls and homemade spicy kimchi on the house. 10/10 food and 12/10 customer service. We will be back!
