their food is absolutely amazing, one of my favorite restaurants but now they’re closing for good? what sense does that make? yes, Covid is an extremely big deal, but so many other buffets have opened again but when customers pick out their food, they’re required to wear a mask AND gloves. that is a very good idea and they also social distance. i just don’t understand why such a good business is being shut down. you definitely need to reconsider.

This is one of my most favorite restaurants. The salads, pasta, breads, and soups taste very delicious. Excellent customer service. The only bad things are that they sometimes run out of the small plates for the breads or pasta, so you have to wait for them to stock it back up. And, I feel like the bathrooms need a renovation.

We love this place! We would eat here so much more if they would move or have a other location in a better area. Mall of Georgia would make a great place for a new or added location. Gwinnett place mall is not the best area to hangout in.

Good food, great staff.

Love the salads most of the time, chili is normally good. But they can not bake a potato to save a life. Please learn how too....

The salad selection is incredible, both prepared and build your own. They have very good soup, a selection of specialty breads. Their muffins are amazing! They even have sugar free desserts

Finally got to try the Sweet Tomatoes buffet recently. My fiance tagged along mostly to humor me, as he's not big on healthy eating. Situated right across from Gwinnett Place Mall, where Stranger Things had been partially filmed, this was kind of a cool spot for us to check out. We walked in right before 4pm, and it wasn't too busy at all. Being our first time, we didn't know what to do, but the friendly cashier cleared things up for us. You grab your salad with all your toppings, then pay at the cashier. Then you have access to the rest of the buffet in the back that houses the soups, sides, breads, and desserts. The drinks are also back there, and note to myself for next time - the blue cups can be used for water for free, if you don't want to pay for a drink. The salad selection was pretty good for the most part. It's all stuff that you could buy and make at home, but I guess the healthy alternative of it all and unlimited servings makes it a good deal. I enjoyed the premade caesar salad, tuna salad, and broccoli salad. The make your own salad is always great of course, cuz you can control your toppings and dressing amount. I really enjoyed the fact that there were so many soups! I'm a big soup person. I was determined to try them all and almost did. The chicken noodle, French onion, clam chowder, cauliflower, and mushroom were all good. I was not a fan of the chili or black bean soup, as I prefer those with more meat and seasoning. All of the soups go great with the moist cornbread and multi-grain bread and butter they have. They also have tons of muffins I didn't try (but looked good) and cheesy bread sticks that were a nice complement as well. The mac and cheese and penne pasta were pretty good. They tasted a little processed, but no different than the kind of macaroni or pasta you'd find at Hibachi or Golden Corral. (So not bad, just nothing spectacular). The desserts were mostly good. The chocolate lava cake was moist and gooey with crunchy edges - perfect with some of the vanilla soft serve they have. I tried some of the sugar free mousse, but was not impressed at all. It actually tasted very much like chemicals and was my least favorite thing of the whole meal. The favorite dessert of my fiance and I was the fresh baked, straight from the oven to your table chocolate chip cookies. So yummy! What a nice surprise to have them warm and brought to you instead of sitting getting stale on the buffet line. I thought that was a nice touch, and they came around twice. In terms of service, the waitress we had was great. She kept our table clean and free of dishes. She was very attentive and sweet. The floor by the drinks could've used some attention, as it was pretty sticky and you could feel your shoes sticking to it, but at least the rest of the establishment seemed well kept. It's nice to know they have take out, cuz that might be my go to option for a bit - seeing as how this was probably a one timer for my man lol. But overall, I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a healthier alternative to the other buffet chains. Plus, I just like the Duluth area so far. We've been here to eat a few times already and the area just has a pretty calm vibe and good people. Good location to be in.

Pretty decent salad + a bunch of high carb pasta dishes. but if you have a bunch of kids and you need to get them all fed and you want it semi healthy, salad, soups,Mac and cheese and soft serve is a good way to get it done.

People are weird, but the food is always amazing! Come on a weekday, if possible. Food is fresher, service is faster, and you'll have many more seating options. Also, sign up for coupons! They come weekly and are absolutely worth it!

I love Sweet Tomatoes. Now that I live in North Carolina, I rarely get a chance to go to one. We were driving through Atlanta and had an opportunity to stop at the one by the Mall of Georgia. It didn't disappoint. I especially like the 8 soups! The items on the salad line were great. I can't think of anything else I would have wanted on it. The person that buses the booths and keeps the place clean, was doing a great job. If we had an empty dish, she quickly took it. Asked if we needed anything else and just did a very good job. Sweet Tomatoes please put some of these restaurants in NC!

The staff was friendly and the place seemed clean, but the food was disgusting. I made a salad and despite the salad dressing looking watery I decided to give it a try. I took my first bite out of it and instantly spit it out. My daughter tried the pizza, Mac and cheese, and the pasta Alfredo and she said all 3 were nasty. She finally just ate a baked potato. She was so disgusted with the food she didn't even want ice cream. When we got In the car she asked if we could never go back there again.

Tried Sweet Tomatoes for the first time and I didn't know what I was getting myself into. My boss and I were craving a salad or something light so someone recommended us to go check it out. I thought it was normal restaurant style but ended up being a long salad bar. Sweet Tomatoes provides a Salad Bar Buffett, Multiple Soups, Sides, and Desserts. The price was around $11 for all you can eat. You basically walk in and you grab a plate and start making your salad. There are plenty of veggie choices, dressings, and all your other salad toppings. The only thing that made me sad was they do not have any meat options to top your salad with. But I ended up using some bacon bits that are used for the baked potatoes. My salad was delicious and everything tasted fresh. I did try their clam chowder and chili but it didn't really wow me. Overall I would say my favorite item I tried was their gluten free chocolate chip muffins!! They were amazing I wanted to stuff my pockets with them. To sum it up if you are craving a salad without any meat and like to create your own sweet tomatoes is your place.
