This is a review of Salsas Bar and Grill in Evans Ga on Washington Road. I have eaten here 5 times now and the food is excellent. The free chips are very fresh and served warm with 2 small bowls of salsa . One of the salsas has fresh cilantro in it and the other is a little spicier . Both are very good . The Fiesta Dip is layers of ground beef ,cheese and refried beans served hot and melty . This is TERRIFIC and a treat for sure. Prices are very reasonable overall and Salsa's has daily lunch and supper specials. Portions are very generous and everything seems freshly prepared. The dishware is newer looking which may seem trivial but it adds to the presentation and the plates are larger to hold the larger portion sizes . They are not scuffed or the cafeteria cheap type of dishes and serve ware. The chips are served in a stainless bowl with papers holding the chips . Everything is clean and they pay attention to details. I've had a chicken type dish with cheese on top with sides of rice and beans . The edible nacho bowl was actually very fresh ,crispy and edible !! Food is served very hot and during one visit my chicken came out sizzling on a platter. My husband enjoyed his fajitas and they were a large portion on a recent visit. The sides of lettuce ,tomatoes and sour cream are very fresh . This is my new favorite place to eat . They have live music weekly . When I was there recently the atmosphere was still family friendly even though there was live music and alcohol. It maintained a restaurant vibe and not like a bar hangout. We have never had to wait very long for a table and the servers are attentive overall. During a daytime visit we did have slight issues with a younger male server who forgot to refill water and forgot our dip twice. The good food made up for the errors on his part. The combination deals are a great price . I've had a chicken quesadilla twice and both times is was served hot with a large portion of chicken and cheese in it . The beef burrito was filled with beef which was real ground beef and not the mushy type often served in some Mexican restaurants . I can't say enough good things about this place and there are so many good choices on the menu. Next time I will try another chicken meal and the shrimp appetizer served in a martini type glass. Salsa's is a great place to eat and parking is easy .

I love Salsas but I've never been to this location. Their rice is unmatched and I hate guac but my family loves it so I'd even recommend it. It's fresh and they make it in front of you. I imagine that if they can make your food in front of you at Japanese steakhouses and it be bomb, this is no different lol. Today I kept it simple and just ordered some tacos, rice and beans. Any time you come here, never leave without getting the rice. Be careful because soon you'll need it to exist. The drinks are superb and they have so many flavors. I even made new friends at the bar, they're a family in there. It was full of regulars, I could hear the bartender and customers exchanging updates on their kids and lives. One of the teenagers from the back came out and hugged one of the customers and she fussed at him about schoolwork. It's a cozy, friendly, very welcoming environment. Food is awesome. Drinks do their job. Definitely go here or any salsas location

best customer service ever. Food is great. And the Margaritas are out of this world...

Went last night and ordered one of the bowls. I thought the cauliflower bowl looked interesting and also got the meat trio. It arrived looking very over cooked. After a few bites I noticed that the spices were quite hot: as a fan of hot foods, I didn't think too much at first. But the heat maintained intensity to the point that it overpowered the meal and ruined it for me. I gave up about halfway through and told the waitress, who reported the complaint to the manager. I was given half off the item, so at least they acknowledged that I hadn't finished the food or requested to go. My wife ordered a quesadilla with guacamole. Somehow the waitress didn't understand that we wanted the guacamole added to the plate - something about "it would be extra" was her explanation - and my wife wound up with a cheese quesadilla with a few thin strands of chicken. I know several people consider this place their "go to" Mexican restaurant. I'm not saying I won't go back (it is about a mile from our house), but I'll probably stick to simple things like tacos or burritos in the future.

I am responsible for organizing meet and greet type events for a social club. Twice I have booked reservations at a local Salsa's. Once at the Bobby Jones location and once at the Evans location. Each refused to honor the reservation when the date arrived. Neither would take responsibility for the employees who booked the reservation. This is unacceptable. By booking our reservations, they prevented us from booking at another venue who would have honored our reservation. It is nearly impossible to find an alternate location and be certain you have contacted everyone with such short notice. I have no complaints about the quality of the food, cleanliness or service provided you patronize them solely as walk in customers.

Great food. Great people. Definitely deserves more than a three star rating. They definitely don't keep you waiting forever like some places.

Excellent service and the food is delicious! The closest to authentic Mexican cuisine that we can get in the Augusta area. They offer both inside and outside seating and very fast service. One of my new hot spots in the area!

Three months ago I would have given four or five stars. The food seems to have changed in quality but the margaritas are still pretty darned good. The staff, especially the manager, are great people. Maybe there was a change in the chef and it will catch back up, but we go a few times a month. Parking can be tough at busy times since's it's in a strip mall.

Honestly one of the best places for Mexican food in Evans. I tried this place out a few years ago and recently gave it a try once more after getting stuff done while in Evans. I can say I was very disappointed to see they didn't have a dessert menu but afte one of my friends told me to try cheese dip I went ahead and bought the cheese dip instead. It came with nacho chips and salsa which was incredible. Perhaps next time I'd like to try the brunch tacos on Saturday or Sunday one day.

Went tonight for our weekly dinner and it was very disappointing. Order our weekly guacamole casero and got - after a 1 whole minute - a 1/2 size portion, brown and old looking. The server proceds to tell us he just made it himself!!! . Really looked like somebody else's leftover. After asking to be remade, they brought the same brown guacamole in a new clean dish. Never was I so insulted. Wont be coming back, our weekly Mexican will now be Poblanos
