We were early for lunch. So, we were seated immediately. Our server was knowledgeable and personable. If course, the food was exceptional.

I tried this restaurant for the first time. I had passed by it before but never stopped. I had the brick plate chicken. It came with broccoli and mashed potatoes. I enjoyed the meal. It was very flavorful. Service was wonderful.

Went there on a Saturday night. The group was 3 adults and 3 kids ( ages 5, 5, and 1). We made reservations for 7pm because we haven’t been to a Ted’s in a long time and didn’t know how long the wait would be. We got there at 6:35 and there quite a few tables open, inform the hostel we had a reservation for 7 and she tell us that we will probably be seated closer to 7 because the kitchen was behind but we are welcome to wait at the bar. This is with 3 kids. First sign we should have left. Anyways take it ready around 7:05. We sit place orders I look at my phone to check the time it’s 7:15. Mind you there are not completely packed. There are seven waiters working and you can only see 2 cooks working in kitchen and looked like the restaurant manager jumped in to help them out. We happened to be sitting where I could clearly see what orders were waiting in the pass. 45 mins later the two 5 year old me all come out, chicken tenders and fries. A long wait for that only opinion. At this point we expect all food to be coming out but nope we were won’t. Ten minutes later I had to ask for the youngest kid to be brought out. Waiter said she will see what she can do. Miraculously she comes out with the Mac n cheese and fries less than two mins later. I literally watch her ask for and they immediately plate it because it is food she’s pre made. Which brings my my biggest problem of the night. We ordered Mac n cheese, but we got Mac n soup. It looked terrible. We 15 minutes after that the adults food come which was a burger and two salads. That’s right a burger and 2 salads, we waited an over an hour for 2 salads. We also never got one of the sides for the burger, we sat and watched it go cold in the pass window. We were so excited to go have biding after not having gone in years but what an utter disappointment. On the drive out we saw a Texas Roadhouse and said if we knew it was that close we would have went there

My first time trying Ted’s was nothing short of spectacular. The food was amazing - but the service was even better, which really made the whole experience an unforgettable night. My server, Payson, recommended the Canyon Creek. It really was the burger of my dreams. 10/10 will certainly be returning. Thanks Payson!

First time at Ted’s tonight to quietly celebrate my partners birthday. Overall, it was much more than expected. Though the theme was a bit hard to understand and grasp, the overall appearance of the restaurant was pleasant, quiet, and relaxing. The best part, however, was our server Samantha. She went above and beyond the basic expectations of any server. Quick and charismatic, ensuring we had everything we needed to make our night complete. She was truly the highlight of our night.

Ted's Montana grill is tucked back behind way off of Barrett parkway... Close to the AMC theater in Kennesaw.
The atmosphere is a little old-timey steak restaurant type of place. Beautiful bar set up. A. Buffalo on the wall... More about that later.
Our server was named Destiny. She was excellent. Also, she was the bartender. For reference, my wife told me that her drinks ordered were the best she's had.. which says a lot, if you know my wife, also she bartended for many many years. Her drinks were beautiful and well made. Just Tasty!
For reference, Ted's is one of the few places that serves bison. And if I recall, he had many many acres that he was raising Buffalo on. So hence the buffalo on the wall and the the kind of a old-timey saloon feel.
I have to say I was disappointed after stopping in for lunch. We both ordered burgers cooked medium, one cooked medium well.
Both burgers came out like shoe leather. No juice, no flavor... No good flavor at least...
My burger tasted like old meat. Now we were not there at the opening of lunch but at the closing. So it's meat should have been fresh, if you know what I'm talking about. Sometimes if you're at a restaurant at opening for lunch, the first Burger out of the drawer even though it's still fresh, meat might have picked up some odors overnight additional flavors... Hopefully not.. but it does happen.
I do not expect to have that kind of flavor, nastiness, at the end of lunch.
Was the restaurant busy... No
Should the cook have known how to temp the burger... Yes
Unfortunately we did not have time to send it back.
The burgers had zero seasoning.
I would have complained if it had not been for my wife receiving blue cheese crumbles for her burners... She seemed to be in heaven with the blue cheese that day. And with our time constraint... Made the decision not to send the food back.
Other Ted Montana grills that we visited and different places within the country, have been stellar.
I feel that this restaurant definitely needs the help getting people into it. Especially since it's so far off the beaten path. It is attached to another restaurant. Which recently closed down. So I imagine the location might be struggling. It's a shame
There's plenty of quality food to choose from. My advice to you might be to avoid lunch time if you want your meat temped correctly.
I'm nearly apologetic for the low score I gave knowing this Brand's potential... But it is an honest review.
We might return for dinner to give it a try.
It is not high on my list though.
