Service is terrible. I am a black man that was treated terrible at this place. She didn't even ask me what I wanted to drink. Only brought me a menu with prices on it like I couldn't afford the food. Other people came 15 mins after me got better and quick service and they was white people.

The food here was amazing. If you know anything about BBQ, then this is the place to go. Sadly as of Feb 20th they have closed down so now I have to find a new favorite BBQ place to go to.

I ordered the BBQ chicken salad and the chicken wasn't included on the salad and they didn't want to give a refund. I wasn't informed before leaving the restaurant that the chicken was placed in a separate container when I received my order.

We found this place here on Yelp and decided to give it a try on our way to Athens. The meat was done well, fries were hot, & the mac & cheese was creamy. Service was attentive and friendly and portions were sizable. The only less than great part was the sauces on the table and that's just a personal preference thing. Definitely worth giving it a try.

Loved the food. Real smoke favor in the pork. The fried okra and collards were 100% perfect. Even the dessert was a flavor meld in your mouth. Josh was an amazing waiter, such great service and entertaining too! Top notch! Wish they had a location in downtown Lawrenceville too.

'cue Lawrenceville is the best! Brisket is always amazing! Angel, Anthony, Heidi, and Emily are truly a wonderful team and I enjoy they know me and my family whenever we stop in. My kids ask to come here bc they love Heidi and Angel! Don't sleep on the pimento cheese, it's a hidden gem and I'm so glad I found it! Wonderful food and service, I can't say enough about them!

After being a customer for years $70. Plus a visit. I did not get what I ordered got a rib basket instead of a full rack of Ribs.. Owner Angel said I got what I ordered. Never apologized for any inconvenience.. I had to pull an apology.. Angel showed a customer has no value at her establishment!! Beware!! Never back at the franchise location...

First tried their food at a catered function and was hooked. The food was so good. So I came in for lunch hoping that the plates were just as good as the catering and they did not disappoint. The service was great and the restaurant was super clean in the dinning areas.
I made a reservation for a "work reunion" of 14 people to eat inside for lunch today. Manager Angel had the table all set up and ready to go when I got there (early) to check in. She and our server Jade both did a great job taking our orders, keeping our table serviced and got us all checked out (separate checks) quickly and efficiently. Won't forget the cooks, the food was excellent too. Thanks for making it a great afternoon for our group! We will be back next year.

Service and food are always excellent! Ribs, brisket, pork and chicken are all cooked to perfection. Great variety of sides. We have eaten here several times and did carry out several times during pandemic and the food is always great

DO NOT waste your money on the "new" Macaroni Slammer. It's nothing more than a bit larger serving of 'Cue Mac n' Cheese, which I admit I love, with a sprinkling of pork bbq on top, for $9.50! An absolute DUD! Spend a couple of bucks more and get a Pork Sandwich which at least usually has a fair portion of meat AND a side of mac n' cheese.

Dinner was delicious. Had the brisket platter with sweet potatoes, fried okra and salad....OMG...the food was so good....to die for. I'd like to take this moment to also acknowledge Lazander our waiter. Lazander was the best host I've ever met, very knowledgeable about the menu, and was just generally a really cool down to earth guy. I'd recommend him to be your waiter when you visit. The menu...the menu...EVERYTHING...looked so good on the menu. And the taste of the food is like WOW!!. Thank you Lazander for the best meal we've had in a long time. Was worth every penny spent. I even left a big tip because we were definately taken care of...made us feel very welcome and almost like at home. Thank you.
