I have been dining at this restaurant since it opened over fifteen years ago. The food is amazing and never disappoints. Miss Jackie and the whole family put love and soul into this Jamaican food. It is so good. My favorite dishes are the oxtails with the rice and peas. And the gravy, then curry chicken and brown stew, chicken and the jerk chicken is also awesome. Every time I go out of town to see my family. They always ask me to bring Caribbean food from Jay's Caribbean Cusine restaurant. I promise you, you will not be sorry.

I had to come and drop a review because the oxtails are so tasty and tender!!! Omg delicious!! So is the cabbage!! I could’ve used a bit more rice but I am not mad at the packaging or food! I ordered via Uber eats and will be back again!!!

Best West Indian on the low spot! Ackee, Caliloo, Brown stew chicken, fresher patties & cocoa bread than other spots. Oh I forgot about the Peas soup, Lord a Mercy lol. Everything was delicious!

I ordered two large cabbage plates and was charged 18.00 per cabbage plate totaling 36.00 for cabbage no meat just cabbage. What's worse is the cabbage was bland and needed to be cooked longer. I also believe the lady went and took some cabbage off the plate after it was fixed. She took my plate back to the side where they fix food after it was fixed which was weird I'm sure she scooped some off. You can keep your expensive hard UNCOOKED bland cabbage I won't be back and I been coming here for years. On the menu a large cabbage is 16.00 which is still too high but why you charged me extra at 18.00 for cabbge is beyond me. I will not return. I hope the extra money was worth it.

The best Jamaican food in the north, hands down. Affordable prices and great portions. The staff members are always friendly. The oxtail plate and curry chicken roti are my go to! And make sure you take some beef patties and a few slices of strawberry cake with you too. ❤️

My favorite place to get oxtails. Been coming here for about 7 years & still my go-to. I love the plantains, they’re made exactly the way I like them (soft & sweet) . I love the beef patties & coco bread too. Omg the best! I’ve always tried the jerk chicken, that was good too. You can eat in, lots of seating available. The workers are nice & always have been. Will continue to come back!
