December 6th,2023 I ordered from here and ??? umm. I ordered from here very excited because the pictures was giving. but. the picture for the Shrimp & Grits (Fried or Grilled) with 2 Sides is not what they advertise, my Grits came in this tiny plastic container, wasn't even enough. no butter barely, no flavor, no cheese, tasted old and not tender. the Shrimp & Grits (Fried or Grilled) with 2 Sides definitely, was way off, the Shrimp was over cooked n rubbery, the Chilli barely had any meat!! n I wish I knew the Chilli was canned Chilli, I could have made that at home. the tilapia wasn't seasoned at alll!! it was a nice size but bland. . then my bun for my fish salad had a whole in it. no mayo, no oion no tomatoes. just lettuce. definitely a waist of money. will not be ordering from here again.

Staff is amazing, I ordered catering 15lb brisket for my workplace and it was gone before closing. They loved it like I knew ;) hope everyone gets a chance to try it! My first time I was nervous so I asked what’s the best thing on the menu, Chef said everything! I didn’t believe it til I tried it. He wasn’t lying every single thing they make is amazing cus I’ve tried every item here

I love that they prepared the food while we waited. The staff is great. It great laid back vibe for real grown folks. Music is fantastic. The owners are out of Mississippi. Great Southern Soul Food. What I did not like was the counter tops were not wiped down and quite sticky.
Went here a few years ago when they reopened under another name....unfortunately nothing has changed at all. Still poor service and selection of beer. How do you run out of beer before the weekend even starts for real? People keep raving about this spot but I don't see it. I guess things kick off after midnight or something. Sorry, this spot is not a spot for me.

Holy-moly... The food was so good! I was craving comfort food, Boston Market was closed & Im so glad about it!The 1st thing I'll say is that this place had 0 atmosphere & there was little customer service (just 3 guys sitting at the bar, seemed a little shady, actually), but I saw the food reviews were so good I gave it a chance.I got the dark chicken with 2 sides (I got collards & sweet potatoes) then I added mac & cheese, I ended up getting a strawberry cupcake too. The plate with the sides was $14, which I thought was so reasonable, for the amount of food I got. Everything was so delicious... I don't know if they smoke the chicken, but it was fall off the bone. The collards were perfectly cooked, the yams were really sweet & the mac & cheese was very super yummy! Everything felt like it was enough that I had a meal for later. I'm glad I gave this place a try & I will go back!
