Nice beer in a nice location
Reformation Brewery in Smyrna is a must-visit for its unbeatable combo of great beers, laid-back vibes, and prime location along the Chattahoochee River, where you can sip a pint by the water or stroll nearby trails.
This is Smyrna’s first brewery in 2020, it’s fostered a welcoming, community-driven atmosphere with a dog- and family-friendly taproom, minimal TVs to encourage connection, and fun events like trivia and karaoke.
The 16-tap lineup shines with everything from crisp Pilsners like “A Cold One” to rich Belgium Ale and creative sours like Alani, perfectly paired with Grand Champion BBQ next door.
With its local charm, riverfront views, and stellar brews, Reformation is the ultimate spot to kick back and feel right at home.
The workers here are no friendly ( on the bar & food side ). Just stare and not friendly and the young men on the other side that takes food are just as bad.
Was just there today, for the first time….Have been at the Woodstock and Canton locations in the past, but this is the closest to where we live. So decided to try it….Once you get past the parking, which ends up being free, this is a great location! The beer was great, as expected! Very nice bartender….I’m 69 and past my IPA prime! 😅. I’ve become basically a lager guy again….had the Mexican Lager, which was great! Also had a grolsch, one of their new brews. It was also very good! My wife had their new rice lager (Clarity), which was a great lite beer and I think gluten free (though it doesn’t matter to me). A big bonus: there’s a BBQ place right next door, Grand Champion BBQ. Incredible chopped or pulled pork BBQ pork sandwich! Their mustard based sauce was excellent! I HIGHLY recommend this place!! I’ve always like Reformation Brewery, and this may be my favorite! If you’re in the area, this is a must!!!
Very pretty view from the patio on the river.
Staff were friendly, beer was cold, and the BBQ was excellent. Great spot to relax.
Great drinks, great service, great location, and lots of outdoor seating.
Great service and staff, excellent beer. Right on the Chattahoochee!
Nice variety and staff was awesome. Definitely worth a visit!
Really nice place on the river in a brand new condo complex. But all the beers i had were NOT RIGHT for their styles. The Belgian Dubbel was nowhere near malty or sweet enough and the Russian Imperial Sout was a JOKE. Watery and thin (more like a chocolate Tmave Pivo).
They need to do WAY WAY better... otherwise they won't be around long. The craft brewery bubble has burst and only the great will survive!
Great vibes

One of the best experiences on the Hooch!
Reformation has 3 campuses to visit. All locations are amazing. The Woodstock location (main) has several serving stations and a beautiful outdoor area that has a majestic oak tree canopy. The Smyrna and Canton locations have nice beer gardens and events to enjoy great beer selections. I like having a reusable silicon cup to enjoy a discount as well as great tasting beer. The Woodstock location has spirits as well. Head out and enjoy. You can't go wrong with either locations.
Loved their Octoberfest. Very roomy, lots of seating, a few TVs. Very cordial bartender. Looking forward to returning. Great view.
Nice spot! Place is small compared to their huge party crowd-centric locations, and I like the more scaled back vibe. The beer is good here; had a Pilsner and a hazy IPA, and enjoyed them both. Staff were friendly and attentive, and there’s a good amount of parking in the area. Glad I finally checked it out.
