Great little restaurant with amazing fresh food and friendly owners. We had the sampler platter, rutabaga fries, and the jerk shrimp. Everything was flavorful and perfect. Soda by the can. We'll try the nachos on homemade chips next time.

This is a lunch place and I am not local, so I barely managed to squeak in towards the end of their opening hours. It appeared that they are running mostly if not entirely as a takeout. The menu had several vegan options, but I ended up going for a salad which came with cheese, as well as ample nuts and a sweet dressing (southern salads do tend to be heavy and sweet). The rutabaga fries I added on the side were quite satisfying. I came hungry. There were certainly plenty of other things that looked to be worth ordering, and given the limited options for this sort of cuisine in the area, I'd recommend taking a look.

The food was AMAZING. Deviled eggs and squash casserole were beyond delicious. It would have been a perfect lunch except it was freezing in the restaurant. Next time I will bring a coat. Lol. (The food was still totally worth being cold.) Seriously, bring a sweater and enjoy some of the best food you can imagine!Vegetarian options: Several vegan bowls and lots of veggies if you prefer a vegetable plate.

Good people delicious food and right off 16 if you're looking for a mix of fresh and healthy this is the place, and we are still talking about their boiled peanuts YUMMY!! and so full me and my husband woofed everything down he got the fajita Keto bowl and i got a fruit spring salad with the strawberry dressing and do not pass on that mango salsa! Phenomenally good!

This comment is about the salad which was amazing but it's more geared to the young lady that works there. You see, I had just came from Atlanta verifying the news that I have the last stage of stomach cancer and was given two years to live. As I was sitting at the table waiting on my plate well my boyfriend and I, the tears came a flowing and the customers that was there couldn't see me crying but when this young lady saw me she asked if everything was ok and I couldn't hold the tears and I bawled like a newborn baby and what she did I knew there was a god and that would be my gi yo restaurant forever. She gave me a hug and yes I'm a hugger and she told me what ever I'm going through I will be ok and I cried on her shoulder for a bit and after i felt better. We both smiled and I left and went home. Then has I opened my salad to eat and the first bite was explosive well I would have said heaven but I can only imagine that part and I love God but not trying to go there no time soon lol so this salad was just amazing. I just had to leave this review to say that day my soul got fed just as well as my belly. Thank you young lady, you know who you are.

Absolutely loved it! It came to us highly recommended by a friend. It was my wife and my first time there, and we enjoyed every bit of it. The food and service was great and the waitress was very friendly. We enjoyed our conversation with her very much. We will definitely recommend it to others and will go back again and again.

Quaint, clean cafe with fresh, home style food and caring, excellent service. As a vegan, I appreciate having several nice choices and my food was fresh and delicious. My Mom's fish meal was alse beautifully presented and tasty. Our portions were generous and prices were reasonable. Staff was pleasant, helpful, and experienced. Perfect place for a nice lunch or simple dinner - a real gem!
