Magnificent. Been going every Saturday for a year since finding this place. Best Cubans ever, amazing congi and fried sweet plantains are cooked to perfection. Their tre' leche' and flan is out of this world and service is impeccable.

3 stars for the Cuban sandwich which was nice. Another in our party ordered a rice dish with chicken and cheese. The chicken was almost minced and smelled like cat food, and the cheese was like clumps of velveeta. It was not appetizing to look at and practically inedible. I also wish the plantains were sliced thinner and not in such large chunks. Service was fine but seemed to be just one woman who seemed very frazzled and overwhelmed handling everything.

Ive gotten take out here quite a few times and it’s always been delicious. I moved out of town recently and was craving a cuban sandwich so when i came to visit obviously i wanted to eat here. I called and it rang for a very long time then a lady answered, i told her i wanted a cuban sandwich and an order of tamales, she said “we dont have tamales” (but its on the menu) then i told her i would call right back after i talked to my partner and figured out what we wanted to order instead. I called back in about a minute and no answer, called again, no answer, and again and again. I got a call from an unknown number in macon and i missed it, i looked up the number and it was associated with this place so i called back. He said “hello” like this was a personal phone, i said ”i had a missed call from this number,” he said “okay”, and i didn't know what to say so i went silent for a minute, like if you call someone then explain why you called, don't just say “okay”??? And then he goes “maam what do you want” in an annoyed tone and i told him I had a missed call from this number again. And then he said “oh” and hung up. Macon has rude people all over so im never surprised except this place has always had amazing service. It was always enjoyable to talk to them. Never again.

Food is sub-average, service was poor, really don't think this place will be open much longer unless they change. Waitress came to the table to take my drink and food order. After which she pointed to a cooler across the room and said you can get your drink there... Sit down service but I have to go get my own drink, strike one. Food arrives she sets the plate down and leaves. I wait a few moments and she doesn't return, she had disappeared into the kitchen. I didn't receive a napkin or any utensils to eat with, finally I walked up to the counter and reached over it to grab utensils to eat with, strike two. Food was bland, Almost done with my meal and the waitress appears, I asked if they had spicy hot sauce, was told no, then asked if I could get a whole jalapeno, was again told they don't have fresh jalapenos. I won't be back.
