Had a $50 gift certificate with NO expiration date on it. It was almost 2 years old. He refused to honor it. Stated that meat cost more than it did 2 years ago. What??? He has the $50 already, I'm the one getting less product for my money. Sorry that's illegal. No expiration date means you have to honor it. He's a thief.

I will NEVER EVER shop at Welche's Meats on Bass Road again. I had a gift certificate for $50 that I had purchased for my husband and we always do a little something different since it is just the four of us for Christmas so we figured we would put that gift certificate towards some good steaks and grill them for our Christmas dinner. Apparently the gift certificates expire 1 year from the date of purchase. Mind you NO "expiration date is this", nothing written on the gift certificate indicating an expiration date. He tried to give some reason of "things cost more than they did when you purchased it. Meats and the cost of everything has gone up". So isn't that MY problem? Not his?? It just means I won't be able to get what I could have for my $50? $50 is $50. He offered to honor $25 worth of my $50. It was the best he could do he said. Seriously?! I cannot even begin to understand his rationale. He would have made more than the $50 gift certificate from our purchase today. Seriously would it have hurt him to have a little Christmas spirit here a couple days before Christmas????? I was extremely disappointed in the owner but I guess he got $50 free!!! Really it's fraud is what it is. Hope that $50 was worth it.

I recieved a gift certificate at Christmas for a smoked Boston butt. I called to place an order. The young lady on the phone was nice and explained the hours that it would be available. Hubby picked it up and Welch's did not disappoint. The bark was fantastic and the tenderness / flavor of the meat was delicious. He also purchased some sausage and I can't wait to try it. Excellent customer service and delicious food. We will definitely go back ❤
The brisket I got from here was the best brisket I’ve had in my entire life. It was seasoned perfectly and so tender. Everyone should get their meats from Welch’s!
