Always have a great experience at Ember! Wide variety of good selection at various price points. Staff and servers are are consistently pleasant and helpful. One of St Simons jewels!

Steakhouse

A local store owner recommended Ember. She said to get the flatbread pizza. She was right! Four of us started with the grilled Caesar salad and the crispy Brussel sprouts. Both were perfect apps to split and the Caesar had a great smoky flavor. We each ordered our own flatbread and shared. We ordered Margherita, Green , the boar and the yardbird. The green was a pizza with a salad on top, so wouldn't recommend ordering as takeout, but it was great eating in the restaurant. The Board had great flavors that mixed together well. The Margherita and yardbird were also excellent. None of us had a favorite. Our waitress Kristen was attentive and a great conversationalist. Highly recommend if you are on St Simons. Really fun atmosphere and a cool bar!

Food was very good Brie app, pizza and steak. Great use of wood fired pizza oven for Brie and steak. Waiter was frequently hard to find but others jumped in. Interesting fine dining environment on one side and nice pub with darts and pool table on the other. Wish we lived near we'd go back.

A local recommended Ember. It was the best meal we had during our stay on St Simon! We tried the lollipop lamb appetizer...amazing! All of our entrees were perfection! The pound cake dessert was really good! Our waitress was very attentive and her entree recommendations were spot on. I can not recommend this place enough!

Took forever to get a cocktail, even a cup of ice! Server had 2 large parties and handful of 2-4 guest tables....way too much. Other servers do not help each other. Its like they look right thru you

Hogs and Quilts favorite dish we had. Flatbread is cooked in Woodfire oven and very tasty. Nice atmosphere but no real private tables if you looking for that experience. Interesting menu choices. Good service!

Home run. Delicious farm to table food in a great place. Not cheap, but worth it for a treat!

The wait staff was friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. We had to small plates: Brussels sprouts, absolutely delicious and Cesar salad (warm), a bit odd but tasty. We shared a pizza with chicken and feta, again delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant. It is in a strip mall so hard to find but worth looking for it.

Excellent experience from beginning to end. Our table enjoyed the Brie appetizer, Brussel Sprouts, and Olives. Several had the Red Fish, which was some of the best I have ever enjoyed. I hope to return sometime soon.

Our appetizers were great, Egg Roll, Brie and Brussel Sprouts. One member of our party got the mac and cheese which was so good also. Flat bread was just so so. Center wasn't crisp like we asked. You couldn't eat it as a slice it was only edible with a knife and fork.

I wouldn't expect to find such a wonderful dining experience tucked away in a strip mall. Service and food were great. They have a rotating menu that utilizes local produce and meat. Service was prompt, informative and helpful in providing suggestions. We'll definitely return. The only negative was when I saw the pizza cookers eating behind the bar in front of the customers. Not saying they shouldn't eat but maybe out of sight of the customer and not while they are cooking.

First time visitors. Immediately when you walk through the door the ambience invites you in. Dim lighting with a beautiful bar and pizza oven. We sat at the bar top and the bartender was so friendly and prompt. The happy hour specials were amazing for food (until 6:00) and drinks (until 6:30). Beer was $2 off and house wine was $4. Cesar salads were also $5 which we tried and enjoyed (romaine is grilled). We also had the $5 tacos which came with 2 and were loaded with Brussels sprouts and goat cheese, very rich in flavor! The star of the show was the pizza. We went with a pepperoni and it was also delicious , especially if you live simple wood fired pizzas. The sauce was unreal. Overall we really enjoyed our time here and would go back in an instant.
