This place was really a surprise find! First of all, I’m gluten free so sometimes it’s difficult find ing food options. They have TONS of gluten free options. The service was excellent. Drinks perfect. Food was so good. We will definitely be back. It was just my husband and I. We sat at a high top in the bar. Great place to people watch. Terrible service. No one greeted is on arrival for several minutes. None of the staff. Finally a hostess arrived, greeted us, and told us we would have to wait for at least 20 minutes. No seating in the area at all, other than all of the empty tables. Finally, after 20 minutes we were escorted to a table (the hostess dropped menus and kept walking). 10 minutes later we left. Awful service. Awful experience. Will not return. They also charge a fee for using credit cards, they must not like getting paid.

I know Italian cuisine which makes this evaluation somewhat credible. The food is good; however, the sauce and tomato soup is heavy and too acidic. The only 5 star item was our waiter Carlos who deserves a sixth star for being so knowledgeable, attentive and cordial...just excellent. Atmosphere and ambiance ok but the evening was tarnished when a member of management (I believe) came to our vehicle as we were leaving to voice criticism that our headlights were aimed into the restaurant. We laughed because we wondered if he thought we were going to camp there all night. Parking is head in...lights have to shine on the establishment...headlights engage automatically on modern vehicles, and most are of LED variety, The problem is resolved with some shading on the front door, not customer criticism. We were pleasant with the stranger and continued pulling out instead of telling him to get a life as we may do given a recurrence.

I ordered the gorgonzola crusted filet medium rare. It arrived medium well. Our server seemed harried, so I didn't say anything.My wife ordered the osso bucco, which was very good.Decent wine list offerings.Tiramisu and creme brulee for desserts. Not bad.

Have been there many times as a nice quiet place with my husband. This visit was with a large group. We had such excellent service and great food. The pace of the service was excellent - no easy task due a large group . Thanks to our 2 servers on 12/14/2023.Kid-friendliness: The ambiance is "quiet". The pace of service is what you'd expect for fine dining, so not great for kids, I would say.

Hostess was very rude. We were extremely offended in how we were approached. My husband and I had chosen this location for our 32 wedding anniversary dinner. We had eaten at this restaurant on previous trips to St.Simons and really enjoyed the the atmosphere and food. I understand they were short handed (only because out of frustration, I went back in to ask for management and overhead a a conversation at the bar that they only had three waiters / waitresses.) At that point I decided to let it go and went to another restaurant where we were welcomed. I will not suggest this restaurant to anyone else or ever return myself due to the treatment I received on a very important dinner date!
