I came here for a birthday dinner. They were very accommodating to our large group and kept the drinks coming. Despite having a couple vegan options, the food was very forgettable. I can't recall a single flavor profile of my meal.

My boyfriend and I LOVE this little gem! Easily our favorite restaurant in Savannah. So glad we tried this out last year and looking forward to eating amazing Latin cuisine after the stay-in-place order is lifted. Then we can walk to the Cantina on a weekly basis ? Whenever we invite friends, they MUST always eat with us here before they leave! You can’t go wrong with the exquisite mole or really any dish! Don’t get me started on the salsa...I miss it too much ?

Amazing food and atmosphere. The only issue we had was the undercooked rice. Party of 10 people so I got to taste everyone’s dish and everything was delicious. Service was great as well. Cook the rice fully and you’re perfect!

Very interesting menu. Best salsa ever. Not your run of the mill Mexican Restaurant. Everything was fantastic!

I have been eyeing Cantina Tulum for a while and brought my out of town visitor in on a Friday night. There was no wait to be seated and plenty of space. There are a lot of vegetarian options here, which is a plus in a town focused on meat and fish. The chips and unique salsa that come out for starters are very tasty and you'll definitely need a round two! We had the quesadilla with mushrooms, but added goat cheese to that dish. The goat cheese serving was plentiful, and even for someone who is not crazy about thick slices of portabello mushrooms, this was a great decision. We each had a serving of tacos as our main dish. I chose the Baja fish and a side of rice. I was worried I'd be hungry but I honestly didn't need the rice! The tacos come overload with substance and flavor, so have your fork handy. The decor inside is very cute - just another reason to keep supporting local businesses and be surprised about what they have to offer! The one downside was the service. Our waitress was very friendly but did forget to get us the menus when we sat down and forgot the check until we asked for it. We weren't in a rush and it didn't make our opinion of the place any worse, but we definitely wondered what happened to the check for a good while. Nevertheless, I'll still recommend this spot! Plus, street parking was plentiful and easy.

This place is amazing!!! Food and service are excellent. Everyone who works here is kind and gracious. Great atmosphere, too. We look forward to coming back often.

Great margarita, amazing food, great service, and priced right. It was a Friday so we needed to eat meatless food. Bartender recommended the shrimp tacos, which were to die for. The fish tacos were equally as yummy. We had a spicy margarita, which is not for the faint at heart, but was delicious.

The cutest place, inside and outside. The pallets used, artwork, design the candles... everything, creates a beautiful ambiance. The service was fantastic, and the chips come out with a unique "salsa" that's more of a creamy sauce - super good. This is a great place for events or romantic meals. It's dark and filled with things to look at. The menu was alright, I had a burrito and wasn't extremely impressed, but next time I'm in town I'll go for something bigger. Beautiful place, very friendly staff, highly recommended.

I got extremely sick after eating lunch here - so much so that I had to cancel the rest of my weekend plans. Needless to say, I do not recommend it! Furthermore, the service was abysmally slow. Several people left due to not being seated or even offered a drink in a timely manner. The menu looks very promising and aspires to serve authentic non Tex-Mex Mexican cuisine, but falls extremely short of this mark.

Very under staffed(as told by waiter), long wait but place not full. I understand they may have been busy but there where empty tables, some still piled up with dirty plates. After waiting about 15 mins to get a table (only ones waiting in line)we where seated and waited another 10 mins to get menus and offered water. We went ahead and put drink orders in and wanted chips and salsa. The waiter told us they where out of chips, so the ones they had left where for customers buying the guacamole dip and they weren’t doing free chips & salsa. I clarified that we would certainly pay for them, as that’s what we wanted more than anything because there was clearly a long wait for food. He explained again that they where out of chips and only for those who would purchase the guacamole dip.

Tucked away in a small house in a residential neighborhood in Savannah is a true gem... The unassuming but surprise delight Cantina Tulum delivers outstanding Mexican food! I was so happy we tried this place on my recent trip, as I hadn't had good Mexican food for about three years since before I moved to abroad and back. We had the Guacamole, Queso En La Plancha (EXCELLENT), a selection of tacos (also excellent) and Chicken Mole. During a short silence where you know it's good cause nobody is talking anymore, we literally cleaned every plate. Though the service was a bit slow, the food and cocktails really made up for it and we would definitely go back to this spot again and again if we lived nearby.

This place is one of the best Latin food experiences around, from freshness of ingredients to the savory distinct flavors. Don’t sleep on this place, best part is; it’s affordably priced! The wait staff is knowledgeable, and friendly.
