We came in at 9pm on a Thursday night. I’m vegan and was excited to try their plant based menu. When I asked for the specialty menu I was told they only had beyond burgers and chick’n available - I then asked if they had the dairy-free ice cream for the shakes (at that point I really only wanted fries and a shake) and I was told no. She then told us they also didn’t have regular dairy milk to make a shake for my friend. Bummer! We drove out of our way to go here just to not even sit down and eat. Disappointed.

Menu is pretty neat and I was excited to finally try the place. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. We ordered two omelets and it took a long time to get. I think our cook was allergic to seasonings though because our food was SO bland.

The food was typical diner fare but good.Service was slow. The interior is sparse and worn down. Definitely not a flashy 50s diner recreation but also no without its own historical charm.

Super cool diner done old school! The burgers were very large and very, very tasty! The service was very friendly and accommodating. The sanitary facilities were very clean. All in all, if you want to eat a good American burger and are interested in the flair of a 60s diner, this is the place for you!

This could be a cute little gem, but the place needs a good sprucing up, the food is bland at best and the service is lacking and unfriendly.

Locals do not eat here, just tourists that do not know any better. The locals know all the stories about this place, the rats, and the roaches.Surprised it is even allowed to be open the way people get sick here all the time

Glad I did not let the appearance scare me away. The wife and I really enjoyed our burgers and the strawberry shake was delicious. The inside is really cute, just older. Played the oldies. Great job!

Amazing burger after 9. We had a late event and had to find a place to eat after and The Palace Diner was the perfect spot. The service is a bit slow but very friendly..Food was hot and fresh.Kid-friendliness: The Teddy bear pancake was adorable

No frills diner with good food. I was greeted promptly and politely, seated, and asked my beverage. Sweet tea for me please! I had the Corned Beef Hash plate that came with two eggs on top and added a side of Biscuits and Gravy. The corned beef is sliced and chopped with home style potatoes. It's not the canned corned beef hash if that's what you're looking for. Overall tasty! Would come back

Since we love diners, we decided to stop in while visiting from out of town. This was a diner reminiscent of an old time diner. We enjoyed our breakfast foods, and they had nice sized portions. My daughter especially enjoyed the Elvis memorabilia on the wall. Most importantly, the staff were super nice. We will definitely stop in again the next time we are visiting the area.

We are there twice once in the evening which was a bit more pleasant than the day visit the guys at night were friendly and or order was right we went back in the day and kinda felt like the server didn't want to be there felt she may also have been judging us based of what we were wearing either way my steak was wrong it was medium when I asked for medium rare it didn't have much seasoning at all I asked for my eggs over medium they were over easy I didnt want to lose my cool so i ate it. Had the server not been rude, judgmental and paid attention to how I ordered my food she would have got more than a 25% tip. And finally I highly recommend the as a side dish I don't like corn beef hash but there's is pretty good

Besides El Potros, this was the best meal I had in Savannah!! lol. I wish we had more time, but it's okay. The diner on Abercorn stays open until Midnight!! I got eggs, bacon, grits, and hashbrowns. Pretty simple, tasty, and fresh. Daughter got the pancakes and they were great. Locally owned. Would come back if I lived here.
