Ordered curbside at 7pm to be ready at 7:45pm, arrived at 8:00pm to be told it was not ready because "as you can see (pointing to a stack of receipts) we are very behind." Yet when I pulled up, both employees were just standing behind the counter not doing anything and there isn't a single soul in the restaurant to be waited on. Very disappointed and will not order here again, very poor service.Sadly I'm the 3rd pick up waiting already. Also not a fan of having my food made with long blonde hair dangling over it. Hair nets? Nope. Nothing.I then had to explain my entire order again, go through the bags and check that they put everything in and still only had 2 of 4 meals done. They were going to let me leave with just the 2 alone at first. They continuously told me I'd received fries for the 2 meals they had not even made yet! I'm not trying to steal anything, I'm just trying to pick up the food I PAID FOR!!!Order was FINALLY completed and ready at 8:45pm, an HOUR after pick up time. Ridiculous.

No pulled pork, no sweet tea, no fries, no ice cream. Store is filthy, it’s “too expensive “ to replace the ice cream machine. Brisket was over cooked and cold. Terrible, terrible meal. They’d get 0 stars if that were an option

Ordered through DoorDash and the store was out of some items. Then was unhelpful, and if fact rude, with the dasher to try to fix the issue. Had to cancel the order entire order. You would think that it shouldn't have to be explained to service industry workers, but rudeness and impatience with service industry workers is immature and frankly, disgusting behavior. Will not order from this location again.

We when we arrived at the restaurant at 5:15, there only meats were available was brisket and turkey. The brisket was cold, was charged for a two meat plate but only had one. Order a turkey a sandwich, the meat was chopped properly. When I talked the the guy behind the counter, he got irate and made the the stated " black people always want something for free." (After the card was charged). He refused to give us a refund. Several people walked out because of lack of food, we wanted ice cream and it was turned to the side.

My spouse and I stopped by to order 4 plates. We orders 1 (2 meat plates with 3 sides) and 3 (2 meat plates with 2 sides). Now, I do understand that the African man was working by himself. He seemed to give the impression that he was ready to take our order. I started to tell him what I wanted to order for my family and I. While he was making plates. He started sweating profusely and that should have been a sign for me to walk out then. I continued with my order. Then a lady came in and went in the back where the man was located. I didn't see her wash her hands. She watched the man work while she sipped on her McDonald's milkshake. I had to repeat several times what my sides were and that wasn't the issue. The issue was when I paid for a total of 9 sides and was told I received all my sides. I was simply stating the fact and visibility of 2 missing sides. The man then got argumentative with me. We finally received our sides from the lady that we saw drinking her Mc Donald's and not washing her hands. Her nails were inside our sides container. She then wanted to help when she saw the man unprofessionalism/ actions. He was still making comments and stated that he couldn't please everyone. It's not about pleasing anyone, it's just about listening to the customer. It will save you some negative reviews. He also mention that he was short staffed and after evaluating his actions. I'm sure no one would want to work with or be near an argumentive person. Happy 4th, everyone!

Wished I could post a picture. This place has went down hill. Dry and unflavored food. It was all served cold. I didn’t complain because the guy here wasn’t listening. He was more worried about a $4,000 order that “just came in.” He said, “We have the pulled chicken but this order just came in so I can’t give it to you.” The sweet tea was soured and the soda tasted dirty. $32 wasted.

Do not use this location.I just ordered food from here for delivery, the driver said he confirmed the order and read off the list of items to the store who confirmed it was all in the bag.Nothing ordered was in the bag. A random sandwich was included. The store was kind enough to include a surprise of plastic wrap hidden in the middle of the meat. Their phone is straight to voicemail and they refuse to answer anything at all.The only way I could get my money back was to file a claim with my bank as this is an independently owned store and corporate was unable to assist either. Also, half the menu online is out of stock ranging from types of BBQ sauce, to meats and most of the sides.

Man that chopped brisket was seasoned so well. It was delicious but I wish I would have had a little more meat on my sandwich. I had more bread than meat. I also didn't get onions or pickles with my sandwich. Those are the two things lacking for me otherwise I would have gave 5 stars.

I’m a simple customer. I care about value in flavor per dollar. $17 for a pulled pork sandwich meal with 2 sides and drink is a little steep but things are more expensive everywhere. That said, the meat didn’t even need sauce (it was that good) and the waffle fries were better than CFA’s by a mile (crispy and perfectly seasoned). Big reusable cup for drink and unlimited sauce (3 flavors). Nice environment with plenty of space. I’d come back again and I’d bring a date if they said they wanted to try some great flavor bbq. Some people take pictures of the food, I wanted to show what’s left.

I used to be a manger here a couple years back everything was running so smooth. With the new ownership this place is going down hill. I went to go get a simple chop beef brisket sandwich the other day and the gentleman that made the sandwich looked like he had no clue lol. You chop beef brisket with a clever not a regular knife first of all. Then I got very dry meat and it was full of pepper and tasted so bad that I just threw it away and the one sandwich was over $9… I’m very upset to see how things are going.

This is the second time I've ordered food from this location and it will be the last. The first time, I ordered two pork plates, and they didn't have pulled pork. My sandwiches came with just whatever meat was available. Today's order was cold, overcooked, missing sides, topping, au just, onions, and the bread is so dry. I understand an off day now and again, but this is twice and it's rather expensive. For future customers please improve your business.

Used to love this place but it's terribly downhill. There is no more Carolina Sauce, the ice cream machine was turned around which leads me to believe they don't even intend to fix it, the buns on my sandwich were hard and overcooked somehow, and the portions of okra and fries I received were incredibly light as if they were cleaning out the bottom of the bag. I'm incredibly disappointed with this new management who clearly did not know how to operate their own register.

Went to dickeys at 11 today on a Friday. Girl behind the counter made me 2 sandwhiches afterwards I went to get my sauce , there were no cups so I ask for one to put sauce in and when she came back I ask for mild sauce all they had was a litttle of the spicer sauce out. The girl didn’t seem to care one way or the other. The counter where the small containers were suppose to be was such a mess with lids of all sizes just throwed about in different metal pans. This was at opening this should have all been took care of before she opened the door. The sandwhiches were cold when I got in the car. Also she said they had no fried sides of any kind so I ask for baked beans didn’t have those either. She said slaw or Macroni and cheese. The girl said they didn’t get a truck in .We will not be back they have really went down hill.

I get to Dickeys at 11a.m. right when they open I ask for a brisket sandwich and fries and they were out of brisket so I went with the pulled pork sandwich. Worse mistake ever to go here sandwich was cold and just not good at all. This was my 1st time ever going here and I was truly disappointed with the food. I will not be going again. 1st impression can be lasting ones.
