They charge for refills and automatically add gratuity to a party of four without establishing that ahead of time…two adults and two kids. Bad business ethics. This was our first time dining at this restaurant and will be our last. Our server Sheyla (sorry if im misspelling) was nice & attentive…so this bad review falls on management. They must not like repeat business.

I enjoyed this restaurant! We made 2pm reservation! Before heavy crowds came ! I got whole red snapper yumyum. Most of the food we order was yumyum.

Came from Fort Lauderdale, trying to get to know the area. So glad to have come. Across this place, steam fish and ackee rolls were amazing! Drinks were strong! Most important the DJ was such a vibe, I danced all night! Nice clean, fun music. Im glad to know this Gem is in the area when I return. Nice to have upscale Jamaican restaurants.

Went for the first time for a late lunch on Saturday. We sat at the bar. Bre was our bartender/server, her service was great and drinks were just right. She also gave recommendations which were helpful. We will definitely be back!Parking: In Webb Gin plaza, so lots of space for parking.

The food was sooooo good. Everything we ate blew my mind. I will definitely be returning. I live in Conyers but this place is worth the drive!I would have given more stars, however our server was very absent. He was polite but not welcoming. He didn’t check on us or ask us how our food was. It felt like he was giving us subpar service because he assumed we weren’t going to tip. However, I’m a bartender and my girlfriend is a server. So we generally tip 30-40% depending on our service. Our bill was around $90. I put $20 on the table (which could have easily been more with better service) and he FINALLY smiled at us when he saw the money ?? don’t count people out because you could block your blessings. Treat EVERY guest the same, because it’s about return service. If the food was not as phenomenal as it was, I would not go back based on my service.

This was my 2nd dining experience with Escovitchez.This establishment came highly recommended by friends who are also vegan so we were excited to give it a try and we were not disappointed the food, the service and atmosphere were great! So yesterday when we were looking to grab a bite Escovitchez was at the top of the list. We were seated right away however it took 15-20 minutes for someone to wait on us meanwhile every other table was being served. My husband had to get someone's attention that we hadn't been waited on. It appeared that there may have been a miscommunication as to whom was working what table. Finally we received our drinks and the appetizers we ordered which were delicious, Service was still a little hit or miss we felt forgotten about and it took another 30min to get our main course and it wasn't good at all the veggies were cold the rice and peas were dry and the tofu wasn't as fresh and crisp as the first time. The overall experience was disappointing.I will dine again with the hopes that you'll do better next time.
