Pork lo mein was very good, the sesame chicken was ok. The crab rangoon I don't recommend. My biggest problem was the price, $37 dollars for the 3 items, I just can't justify that.

The food is cooked fresh when ordered. The wings are very small but are tasy. Service is fast and friendly. Prices are GREAT . This is my very favorite Chinese Restaurant in the area.

I honestly have no idea how this place doesn’t have 5 stars. My sister and I moved out of state and this place was a staple when we lived here, and is ALWAYS on our list of food places to eat when we visit. The spicy tofu delight is seriously the BEST. You cannot find food like this in Colorado Springs. The sauce is house made and impossible to imitate, trust me, we’ve tried!

Food taste good and fresh, HOWEVER, customer service (owners) are the worst. The building looks abandoned to the point you are unsure if they are open. Decor has not changed AT ALL and faded to the point of despair. Prices have doubled with less quantity. Chicken wings are no bigger than your pinky finger!!! ?. Taking my money elsewhere! Not even sure how they are even still in business?

They sold me rotten food got home to eat and i can taste the rice is 4 to 6 days old frfr i left it in d fridge next day it

They over charged me for the 6pc lemon pepper wings with fried rice at 13.99. No drink and no egg roll. The sign was posted at 13.99 for a combo but they denied charging me for a combo that I didn't get. They had the worse attitude and we are never going back. I ignored all the red flags and I won't make that mistake again.

My wife's favorite Kung Pao Chicken for 20 years or so, but they've gotten too greedy :-/. Short story - The owners are trying to take advantage of the "inflation excuse" to line their pockets. And that's just unconscionably. Listen, I eat out ... a lot. Too much. And China Express has raised their prices (much) more than any other restaurant I've seen. Don't let them take advantage of you - Eat elsewhere. --- Summary: - The price of whole fresh chicken has gone up quite a bit (more than most food items), rising 18% over the last 5 years. - The average cost of eating out has gone up 21% over the last 5 years. - But China Express has raised prices by 67% in the same period. --- If you want the longer, boring economic proof, read on ... In 2017, as you can see in a Menu Board photo here on Yelp, an Express Dish was $5.99. Another receipt I scanned in 2019 shows $6.99. They raised it a dollar here and there since then until now, when they're up to $9.99 (let's call it $10, of course). That's a: - $4 (67%) price increase in 5 years - $3 (43%) increase in just the last 3 years. Inflation, you might think? And that's the excuse that the owner gave, and that she and other (some) greedy business owners hope you fall for. But China Express's prices have increased more than 10% *every year* for the last 5 years, even well before we entered this inflationary period. Even at this nearly *record high inflation rate*, it's still "only" 8.6% for the past year (Latest Consumer Price Index data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics). And restaurants are "only" up 7.4% year-over-year, according to the CPI. The year before that was 5.0%. And every year before that was in the 2%-3% range. But China Express has raised their prices by *much more than* 10% on average each year for the same time period. Want another view? According to the CPI, the average cost of a pound of fresh, whole chicken in May 2017 was $1.50. Currently (latest data available as of May 2022), the cost is $1.82. That's a 18% (rounding up) increase. Again, China Express's owners have raised their price on Kung Pao Chicken by 67% in that same time period.

I've been getting take out from this place for many years and never really had a bad experience. The occasion "one off" meal is to be expected from time to time whenever you frequent any restaurant. Maybe the cook or staff was preoccupied with personal problems that day which lead to a less than stellar experience, Etc. Over the past couple of months the guality of the food has declined to the point where I'm going to find another place to go. I hope in the future they can get back on track but for now I will say goodbye.

Best chinese food. The only chinese food I will eat. I moved away and I visit whenever I am in the area.

Not sure why people have had bad experiences here. This is honestly mine and my wife's favorite Chinese place to come to. She insists I get food here every time I'm in the area. I always get the General Tso's chicken, and she gets the Kung Pao. I usually get an extra 3 egg rolls also, since they make the best egg rolls as well.

When you buy wings they charge for ranch/blue cheese.. they don’t even want to give you sauce. The guy there is very rude and has an attitude. I came in time and time again every occasion I was met with an attitude, bad service and overpriced mediocre food
