The BROWN STEW CHICKEN was OLD, Nasty and tasteless. It's like they cooked the chicken days before and reheated it, you can tell potatoes was not old, the Rice & Beans was stale and had different multiple beans in it, it was hard....i wasted my damn money, i will not buy from them again.Many Caribbean restaurants have gone down the drain around Decatur, Clarkston and Stone Mountain.

I’m not sure what changed at this location but this is usually my go to place for lunch. I got the barbi jerk with rice n peas and the chicken was great but the peas in the rice was under cooked. It was still kind of hard. The customer service was great.

It really is tough to find bad Caribbean food and I certainly didn't find it here. Hole in the wall in Stone Mountain. Just finished a couple of laps around the mountain and was starving. Stopped in for some to go food. The lady who greeted me was friendly but not much help. Asked for a chicken recommendation (brown stew, stewed, jerk, or curry) and she wouldn't even tell me which was most popular or which she preferred, so I just picked one at random and got the brown stew chicken. Loved it. Tons of flavor, slightly spicy, with delicious rice and peas and coleslaw. I got a small and note for you all-a small is plenty for a good meal. Would have preferred more chicken but I did get a small (there was still a lot of rice though). Regardless, I didn't leave a crumb. Doesn't look like much but worth a stop.
I called in my order for a large oxtail ($32) and got 4 bones with little meat, one medium piece with lots of fat. This was my first time ordering, I came from the airport area (26 miles one way) I got home and was so disappointed to receive the scraps. They should’ve said they didn’t have enough to serve. The food was good but it wasn’t enough. BennyThis place not only has good food but they have great customer service and integrity. I called to let them know about my experience and a gentleman named Nicholas answered the phone. I explained to him what happened and he took it upon himself to make things right. Remember I live almost 30 miles away from the restaurant and he brought me another plate to make up for my experience. I thank you guys for that and I will definitely be back. ???

I used to come here every Tuesday, then switched Wednesday for stew peas. But I got tired of the smoked pig tail and beef they cook with. Wish you guy would not use the smoke meat in stew
