My food was absolutely cold in the service was meh.A homeless person came in, so I bought him a meal. The server treated him like trash. She gave him food with no silverware. Coffee black and didn't ask him if he wanted any condiments such as cream and sugar, which he did. I had to keep going back to her, asking to please take care of him.She kept ignoring him she wasn't kind to him at all. It was absolutely disgusting. She didn't work there. Normally, she came from a different location. He was scared to talk to her because of how she treated him. Which is how others normally treat him. Is it so hard to smile at someone? Especially if you're working and it's your job... or be nice. It costs nothing.

Legend was a legend in service and recommendations on Christmas Day ????
My husband, son & I came in, the cook was sitting with a couple other guys & he said, "The waitress will be right out, she's in the bathroom." My son was excitedly looking at the menu, telling me what he wanted to eat. After 10 mins we heard the toilet flush & the waitress immediately came out (did NOT wash her hands). I already was gonna tell my husband that we should leave, but before I could, the waitress asked the cook, "Why didn't you lock up? I'm about to leave." That's when we stood up & I told them, "We're leaving anyway." Gross & absolutely no work ethics or regard to customers at all.

Just left sat down with my toddler and no one brung a napkin or said anything ... so I decided to order my stuff tog to go... minutes later spanish couple walked in didn't take a second they were on top of it hate to see this in my black community and hate to see that would treat black little girls like that glad I never took my child here before and will never be coming back or recommending them this is an unbiased review I was a waitress for Waffle House in Decatur and on jimmy carter so I know what being biased looks like so I'm definitely not crazy !!!!! Get it together even the Spanish guy behind me was looking at me like yea they been prejudiced in a black community of there own ... sick world
Friendly staff and great greasy food - can't ask for anything better from Waffle House. Cookie was a great waitress!!!

WORST WAFFLE HOUSE EVER!!! I work late and I always come here around the later times. For the past 3 times I never got serviced because a "cook" wasnt in or shifts are rotating. No waffle house have I been to were closed due to shift rotations. Tonight at 9:00 p.m. my husband walks up and there were 2 employees there. 1 was already standing there. 1 was walking from the back. The employee passes my husband without any acknowledgment sits down to bury his face into his phone. I'm not spending money where I don't get acknowledgement.

Usually I have no complaints at this location (store# 1700), Wenifer was doing way too much this morning but yet, NOT WORKING! She really need to work at night when they’re just taking to go orders so she doesn’t have an audience to perform for. She went in on this customer and made a whole scene the entire time I was in there (she just wouldn’t let it go) then refused to wait on him (which I can understand if he said something offensive). One of the male workers had already taken over helping the customer but she went on and on which was so unprofessional and annoying at that point, not to mentioned the guy had already apologized several times. She also needed to refund me for an over charge but took a minute standing there insulting a female coworker telling her if she wasn’t sure to stop talking (how rude). And instead of my refund she was trying to talk me in to getting something else….WTH. Then after cashing me out she selected the 5 star experience…no ma’am it was not 5 stars today! I came in a hour and 10 minutes before work and ended up with 20 minutes to get to work and clock in!
