My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner tonight. All of the staff were super friendly and welcoming, especially our waitress Megan. We’ll definitely be requesting her next time. She was super nice and helpful; you can tell she enjoys what she does. The food was delicious. The hush puppies and sweet butter is my fav! We’re excited for our next visit. Thanks again Megan!
As a fellow bbq connoisseur, I must say this place has the right atmosphere and people. But every time I’m lazy and don’t wanna drive to the good places for bbq and go here it’s like going to a buddy’s house who just learned how to bbq. Everything is tasteless all the time! It’s insane! Idk how they have the ratings they do.To shed some light I got pork ribs, brisket, Mac and cheese, hush puppies, fried corn, fried pickles, and Coca Cola. The best thing I had from that menu was Coca Cola, no joke.I really hope the owner(s) can take some positive criticism, and maybe get back in the kitchen and come up with something better for each dish flavor wise and honestly cooking it better all together, the brisket ( a couple pieces of the flat is what I got) had a flavorless bark and no smoke flavor, it was very tough and not rendered well. It’s passed none of the standard tests you do while eating brisket. Same with pork ribs. Kinda had flavor but no smoke and was tough as leather.I’m not sure what smoker they use, I know the Acworth location has wood outside stacked up. I believe I saw an over under cabinet style smoker there. Maybe they have one too at the belles ferry store. If I were the business owner(s) I’d highly highly consider getting a big offset smoker a 1,000 gallon would do awesome and completely change the flavor of everything. And come up with some better rubs. Honestly if they used an offset smoker and ONLY used salt and pepper on the brisket and let it rest over night in a warming box they have some killer brisket. It’s simple choice's to make change and this place could be one of the best in the state! Hope this helps! And honestly if they need pointers I’d be happy to help I build bbq pits!

First time checking this place out after hearing numerous of great things about it. It lived up to the hype! Everything was very delicious and the portions were huge so I had lunch for the next day! Our waitress was Hailey and she was very good she gave us a rundown of the menu and recommended a few things. She was also very attentive and very nice! We will definitely be back 10/10 stars
Average. The serving sizes for the food is right for the price, nothing special about the food, it's pretty average at best bbq. We tried the fried pickles, overly salty.. tried the hushpuppies and honey butter.. they were overly coated in fry mix and just not worth $8. Turkey was salty. Bbq beans were maple and tasted out of a can. The ribs were meaty, but average flavor. The bbq sauces are on the tangy, not vinegar based, but not sweet either.. the biggest problem was the wait.. we arrived when they opened with two other customers.. and our food took 45 minutes to come out..

So, I left a 1 -star review regarding service I received last week, and it has since been removed.Long story short, I paid almost $17 for a veggie plate that was not good. All of my food was cold, and the serving size was small.My collards juice soaked up in the PAPER containers they use. My mac n cheese was soupy, not creamy, cold, and flavorless. The fried okra was soggy from the juices being everywhere.The thing that prompted me to write this review Wasn't even the code, soupy, soggy plate.It was the fact that the container that my beans were in were not in a small paper bag like they usually are. The young girl set them on top of the plate and didn't tie the bag... when I picked the bag up, the beans fell on the floor landing on the top..... they did not fall out of the container but the container did leak a little bit. The girl came from behind, the counter, picked the container up off the floor while it was leaking, and placed it right back in my bag. That was extremely unsanitary, and disgusting. She could have at least offered a new container or a new replacement.So, instead of working that hard to have my review removed, maybe you should work harder onProviding better customer service.I also noted in my last review that the quality and the service of this place used to be phenomenal, but it has extremely going down since last year.
