The guy behind the counter flipped out at us when we asked for a cone, ranting about how much money he has spent to create a cone-less ice cream business. Extremely weird and awkward. There's a much better ice cream place across the street where the people are actually nice. This guy shouldn't be managing the counter.

Just don't. I came in with my husband for ice cream. My husband had a hurry call of nature so he went to the bathroom while I stood at the counter to choose ice cream. My husband was getting over a bug and trying not to spend any more time indoors with other people than necessary so he went back outside to wait for me to bring ice cream.. Once the guy behind the counter discovered my husband and I were together he went ballistic - beyond rude into down right mean. I got the ice cream after some words vague threats. It was heavy, gluey, and half-melted. Luckily for me, it is the worst experience I have had in Hawaii. Maybe the guy was having a bad day. Everyone does, but the quality of the ice cream is nowhere near good enough to risk a second encounter.

I can’t speak for the ice cream only the staff, before writing this review I looked through the other negative ones to see if this was justified and they all seem to be about the same person, the bald angry guy behind the counter that is the protector of bathrooms. I went in to use the restroom to get some sand out of my shorts from the beach, before going into the bathroom the man stops servicing his customer to tell me I need to pay to use the bathroom so I grabbed a liquid death water from his fridge and go to check out he proceeds to look at the can and ask me why I would be putting sugar down my pants ( there is no sugar in a liquid death just water) I responded no I will not be doing that, payed for my water used the bathroom and left. I don’t see there need for being aggressive and rude especially when I complied with his bathroom rules. Overall poor service from what I would assume to be the owner I believe he should take his 1 star reviews into consideration and work to improve his attitude to all customers. indeed not the aloha experience

Absolutely a must have for anyone on the island. The ice cream is some of the best ive ever had. Fresh and unique flavors. Hospitality and all around good feels.
Truly delightful! Homemade ice cream with lots of fun flavors that are creamy and rich. Flavors that actually taste like what they are (strawberry, ginger, passion fruit, etc) rather than overly sweet, syrup-candy flavor.
We had ginger snap + pistachio and strawberry + lilikoi

Freshest and creamiest!!! We had the pistachio with mac milk and it was so incredibly creamy! High quality ingredients. They asked about allergies and suggested flavors. So worth the stop! We came from Miami and drove from Kona for this! Family owned! They were making the new flavors while I was there. They will let you taste them before committing. The pistachio was so delicious I could not resit! Try it with some Maui chips... you wont regret it!
