I love this place!!! It had always been so great here. Aunty makes you feel like you're family and cares so much for all her patrons. It's so sad that they have closed. #bringbackaunty

Everything was very clean! We loved the food and the size of the dish was huge. The price was definitely worth for that portion size of ramen. Also, when it comes to pricing, it does vary through the soup selection and toppings you select. In other words, it's dependent on the weight of your toppings and the soup of your price. Not to worry though! It's an easy and fast process! Service was fast and friendly. Aunty also gave us a complimentary dessert bowl , thank you Aunty! Will be returning with friends and family. I would definitely recommend this place if you're wanting ramen!

Called 808-946-8686 Phone line disconnected, co-worker said that they are closed. [Aunty used to own Sweet Home Cafe and sold it...then opened Aunty's Ramen.] Got this info from fellow yelper LN. check her review too! "Hi I'm not related or associated w aunty's ramen but i just wanted to tell u that Sweet home cafe has made a lawsuit against Aunty's ramen. Last court date is December 9 according to a post made by Aunty. If you would like to show support please contact [email protected] ! This is probably the reason why they are closed. Have a great day!"

COME HERE! It's so good. I'd never heard of build your own ramen so I came here with a friend and I couldn't believe the set up. They have SO many options and choices so it's a little overwhelming. The guy working was super helpful and explained everything. Once we picked everything to add, the lady weighed it and I was surprised at how expensive it was. She said everyone adds too much on their first time and happily removed a few heavy pieces and the price went way down. You definitely need to experiment to see what you like, but I loved the concept and the Ramen was really good. She also brought us a free desert as we were finishing up!!! She was a doll and had us cracking up. There was also a group of 20 people here when we went so it's great for big parties too.

There are many places in Honolulu to grab a bowl of Ramen. My family and I have drove past Aunty Ramen's many of times but this time we decided to stop by. Once entering in the doors we were immediately greeted and shown to our table (with absolutely no wait). We were educated on how things worked there. We could have simply follow the instructions on the wall but Aunty helped us with the sides you can put into your ramen. There was a ton to choose from that I felt a little overwhelmed. But after a few minutes I could decide exactly what I wanted. Aunty also reminded us to constantly weigh what we put in to determine the price of our bowl. After we loaded our bowls our next step was to determine what type of noodle and broth we wanted. Simple, very simple. While waiting for your ramen, don't forget to check out the condiment bar. It is loaded with DELICIOUS sauces. The ramen house special base that we got was totally well balanced and not too salty. The noodles (pho) was a nice firm texture. Well done. And to top off all of the deliciousness, we were treated to an awesome dessert. We will definitely be returning. The staff and Aunty truly treated us with the Aloha spirit which is becoming hard to find nowadays.

I love this place because the food is delicious. The broth choices are all so tasty, you can definitely find one for your palate. Pick as many or as little of side items to fill your ramen. For visitors, it's like the Chipotle of ramen, but amazing! Haha Aside from the food, I love the staff, especially Aunty. She is so friendly. She really makes the place feel like home and not a business. My favorite place to go when I'm on Oahu!

Holy cow the servings here are huge!! Not only was the food great but the bowl was bigger than my head and the service was great. It's a build your own ramen bar and if you're a first time customer like i was the staff is super friendly and takes time to explain how to choose your ingredients. Can be a little pricy so I recommend sharing a bowl

Large bowls of tasty ramen for a reasonable price, unless you're my brother and you end up paying $25 because you overfilled on the self-serve goodies. Minus one star because we asked to split my brother's bowl contents into two bowls and the employee there didn't comply. (I've worked in foodservice, and the customer isn't always right, but this time I think we were.) Aunty herself (that's how I remember her introducing herself, anyway) brought us free shave ice for the trouble.

I keep coming here more so because of Aunty. I don't consider myself a regular since I've only been a handful of times, but Aunty has an impressive memory to what my friends and I like to eat, who is left handed, and who is a vegetarian! The food taste great, too. If you choose a broth, it's served in a giant bowl that makes you feel like everything is going to be okay. I love their sauce bar that I usually go overboard on, because seeing little dishes of things to dip my food in also makes you feel like everything is going to be okay. And then the shave ice dessert comes out, when you didn't even order it, but it's a welcomed surprise because, yes, everything IS okay!
