Diamond Head Market & Grill

Locally recommended! Had a hearty surf and surf plate-enough to feed 2! 3 meats, fish, & 2 garlic shrimp with white rice! Prepared fresh and super tasty. Don’t forget to stop inside for scones, desserts and drinks! Perfect post-Diamond Head hike!

Pricey good food tho

I think its greatly overhyped, the prices are kinda insane, even compared to other restaurants in Hawaii and California. Its about $20 per plate, and the sides are really steep toom. I got the mushroom chicken sandwich, with fries and the fries were very subpar. Overcooked and lacking both salt and seasoning. The sandwhich was very basic, just Mushroom and chicken. The scones however are quite good. The service is fine, it took about 15 minutes for my order, and there is no outdoor seating.

Take out only. Great shot to grab a plate lunch or burger/sandwich to go. They have small market inside with some beers, desserts, and cold sandwiches. Everything I've tried is good, and the BBQ gorgonzola burger is great!

We got the surf and turf plate which allowed us to try all the amazing meats they had to offer. This grill is a mix of Hawaiian food with an Asian twist. Food was amazing and the portions were huge.

Cheesecake is great but honestly not as good as Cheesecake Factory :/

One star only because it was once my go-to for the best scones that I know.

I always crave these scones often but this will be the last time I ever order from here again. Their scones ARE delicious but not when you find this inside of it. Please see attached photos.

As I was eating the last bit (no pun intended) of it, I felt something so hard and chipped my tooth. Spat it out to see what it was and here we are.

Never have experienced such a thing this bad in my life that was found in FOOD.

They offered to fix my chipped tooth so they atleast can honor that.

No seating.

Great take-away spot (there is no seating here). Love the grill! FYI, the grill side has different hours than the market!

Service is abrupt and wound up a little too tightly, especially at 8am. Food is good but not on par for the high asking prices, too expensive but they get the tourists coming back from DH.

I bought the classic blueberry cream cheese scone, which is soft and moist and won't make you thirsty. The taste was still delicious❗️
