The food was absolutely delicious! So flavorful and perfect portions. We had the lamb and wagyu beef shish plus hummus, French fries and spicy dip. 10/10! Service was amazing as well. Luca was very insightful of the menu and had great recommendations.
Great dinner experience. Wait staff attentive, provided explanations of each dish. Waiter made great recommendations, had meza platter, calamari, lamb kabob & cauliflower. Too full for dessert.
Our first brunch at Istanbul exceeded our expectations! Each dish was delicious, beautiful, and different from the next. Even the cocktails were beautiful and highlighted Turkish and Mediterranean flavor profiles and ingredients elegantly. Ambience, decor, and service was fitting, as Sunday brunch is a treat. Even though we weren't celebrating anything in particular, the overall experience would be great for a special occasion. We'll be back!
GREAT food in a fun a lively environment. One of Honolulu's BEST restaurants. Don't miss the chicken shish, lamb chops and spiced rice!!! :)
Went on date night. This place was a vibe and busy for sure! Food was really good and flavorful....dont miss out on the moziac platter and desert!
Overall was a great experience and the ambience was fantastic. It is a great and I will share the word with other people.
Exceptional Experience at Istanbul Hawaii! From start to finish, our dining experience at Istanbul Hawaii was absolutely outstanding. The service alone deserves five stars — our server was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations from cocktails all the way through dessert. We started with cocktails, and every sip was delicious and beautifully presented. The shared appetizers were equally impressive and set the tone for an amazing meal. For entrées, we ordered the Wagyu Ribeye Shish and the Lamb Tenderloin Shish. •The Wagyu Ribeye Shish was unbelievably tender, juicy, and rich in flavor — it practically melted with every bite. •The Lamb Tenderloin Shish was cooked to perfection, wonderfully seasoned, and so tender that it didn't even need a knife. Both dishes came with fragrant rice and vibrant accompaniments that made the plates feel complete and satisfying. For dessert, we enjoyed two absolute winners: •The Antep Baklava — crisp, buttery layers with pistachios and just the right touch of sweetness. •The Pumpkin Bread Pudding — warm, comforting, and perfectly spiced with an incredibly soft, custardy texture. Both were so yummy and the perfect ending to an already fantastic meal. Overall, Istanbul Hawaii gave us a memorable dining experience with top-tier service, delicious food, and beautiful presentations. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommend!
First time there and it was so memorable. Our server Luca was amazing and so knowledgeable on the menu. He gave us the best recommendations and was on point! Will definitely be coming again!
Love this restaurant, one of the best in Hawaii. The friendly and attentive staff, delicious and healthy food and exquisite ambiance are all we need to relax on a Saturday night. We always have ribeye shish, Anatolian donner, Zatar frites, and of course the most amazing dessert in the world: Hatay kunefe!!!! Can't wait to come back!
Best of Honolulu we have tried o far. We have tried many restaurants and Istanbul Hawaii is the best restaurant so far. Beyond the incredible food, ambiance, the service was fantastic, attentive, knowledgeable, and efficient. The ambiance is elegant yet lively, making it comfortable for a relaxed dinner while still feeling like a special occasion. Highly, highly recommend!

Chefs Ahu & Nili bring authentic Turkish and Mediterranean flavors to Hawai‘i. Handmade dishes, local ingredients, and warm Anatolian hospitality make it one of the best restaurants in Honolulu. A true fine dining Ward Village experience, elegant, seasonal, and unforgettable.
The lamb was bland and chewy, unexpected considering it is a cultural staple. The steak was fine, the rice was delicious.
Awesome menu. Good to see Chef Ahu frequently has new dishes. I have not eaten a bad meal ever.
Loved the food and ambience! The waiter explained the menu perfectly and gave recommendations.
Great place for a casual meal or celebration. They offer delicious vegan options, like the hummus and cauliflower shawarma (my favorites). If you're a coffee enthusiast, be sure to try the Turkish coffee and savor the Turkish delight that accompanies it.
