Good ramen and gyoza. I like gyoza that has some vegi in. The pork meat in the ramen had no meaty smell so it was great.

My friend took me here after he had tried it out. He recommended this place a few times but we haven't had the time to go until now.The location is right across from the Blaisdell Concert Hall and Thomas Square. This is a relatively small restaurant so there is limited indoor seating with a few tables outside. We had to sit outside because when had gone during lunch and it was busy. The food here is great. I had the Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen, Gyoza, and Chicken Karaage. All the items were prepared perfectly.I really enjoyed the food here and would not hesitate to go back.

Curry is all veggies. The ramen is delicious! Parking is available in the back side of the restaurant in a parking lot.

The BEST ramen in town. We’ve had many celebrity clients that have truly enjoyed Junpuu Ramen when they have performed at the Blaisdell. Just delicious and they couldn’t be nicer. I’ve probably eaten there over 100 times. I’m vegan and once I ordered delivery from a delivery service and they made it with a non-vegan broth. The owner drove it all the way out to Hawaii Kai. That says a lot about how much they care about your customers and how dedicated they are to great food and great service.

My friend and I went and ordered garlic gyoza and I had the garlic ramen. Both were excellent. I love the noodles they use for their ramens.

I was craving ramen and I saw that this place had good ratings so I decided to stop by. Granted I am pretty picky about my ramen but this place was such a disappointment. I ordered takoyaki and a spicy miso ramen. I don't eat meat so I replaced the char siu with spinach. The server said they usually charge but this time there would be no extra charge for the replacement. Which in my head didn't make any sense to me since it's a replacement. Most places switch out ingredients for no extra charge, EVER.The takoyaki came and my jaw dropped. The takoyaki was probably a little bit bigger than the size of a quarter. And the piece of tako in it was the size of my pinky finger nail. I was shocked to see how small they were and they are charging $7 for 5 small pieces. After that disappointment I didn't have high hopes for the ramen. Ramen in my head comes with nori, bean sprouts, maybe a couple other veggies on it. But this ramen came with onions and bamboo shoots. The ramen was lukewarm and it was bland. It also wasn't spicy at all at a level 2 spice level. And I was charged $2.50 for an egg. After the first couple bites I was over the meal and wanted to get out of there. The wait staff was friendly though.Go somewhere else. To get ramen. Wasn't worth the money.

3.5 Stars. We normally love going to Junpuu whenever we are on island, but the quality has gone down since our last visit about six months ago. We both found the broth to be extremely salty and the noodles bunched up. On my most recent trip, they excluded the pork in my tonkotsu ramen. There are a lot of excellent ramen places on Oahu. It's not the best and at this rate...won't even be mentioned. Most likely won't return.

I got the garlic tonkatsuBroth was tasty, creamy,Plenty of black garlic oil,Noodles: yellow, firm, chewy, scrunchy: server said they were from Sun noodle, which most shops use here.Nice Toppings: soft charsiu, purple onion, scallions. The Charsiu quesadilla was ok but a bit more confusion then fusion, didn’t go with the bowl, partly my fault for thinking that it would.Great service and felt like a lot of locals like this shop.Great service and welcoming7.7

The best noodle dish I had in HawaiiThe tongotsu was good because it wasn't too salty for ramen and had a deep broth. The moderately spicy Dantan Man was also excellent.
